Cubelets are modular robots that a 3 year old can play with and have a blast - I highly recommend cubelets

I purchased the cubelets starter kit for a five 1/2 year old boy. He loved it. He took it out of the box and started using it immediately. His little sister who is 3 years old also had fun playing with them. Cubelets are the best. They snap together like a magnet. The lego attachment allow the kids to attach legos and make the legos move. I highly recommend cubelets!

New kit that is good for young and older kids

I reviewed the old Cubelets KT06 but thought I'd add a review here since this looks like an updated kit now with Lego brick adapters and a much lower price. This is a great set for elementary age kids but my 13-year-old son also loves playing with it. You don't find that broad appeal in a toy very often.

My twins got 12 Cubelets for their birthday yesterday and I had to buy 9 more today! Definitely the TOY OF THE YEAR. My kids program on Mindstorm but they enjoy these equally. Its a different robotic experience and these are super easy. Its great to see a high quality toy that teaches and holds the attention for hours...well worth the money!!!!!

Great toy for inquisitive minds

My 6 yr old son has been very interested in robots lately and spent about 30 minutes playing with these at a children's museum today. He loved putting the cubes together in different combinations and experimenting with the functions of each cube. I would definitely consider purchasing these for him...just wish they weren't so expensive.

I love the versatility of the Cubelets.Kids and adults are totally engaged in combining the Cubelets to make different robotic models. I'm hoping to find a funding source to buy about 10 more sets for my STEM classroom
