Cori’s full length LP, Ringing in My Head, bristles with propulsive songcraft that blends confessional lyrics with modern rock attitude and sharp pop melodies-- offering a radio-ready sound that has been compared to a modern day Pat Benatar. Released in the Spring of 2005, Cori Yarckin’s Ringing in My Head features 10 original tracks written by the Orlando, Florida native, and is distinguished by an uncommon lyrical strength and musical maturity. “These are songs that say something about what I am feeling, and what other people my age are experiencing in their lives,” she explains. “My music is empowering at times and vulnerable at other times. It’s real, like me.” With Ringing in My Head, producer Jimmy Robertson Landry has captured the passion and intensity of Cori Yarckin’s blistering live performances into a tightly honed pop/rock package. Soaring with the passion of a young artist set to leave her mark on music fans in need of a fresh voice, Ringing in My Head is one of 2005’s most exciting releases. “I set out to make a record that people can relate to and sing along with,” Cori explains. “I believe in these songs, and the messages within them.
