"I like these shoes for trail runs, but without socks, I did get blisters on the back of my heel. They tend to rub against the Achilles. They are zero drop minimalist shoes with decent ground feel (not as thin as Vibrams) and would be nice for winter running (with socks) as well."
"If you run in the winter, you have got to get Icebreaker clothes. Nothing is better for winter running. They keep you warm but also allow sweat to evaporate. There is nothing else out there that can keep you so warm and also breathe. Plus, you don't need to wash them after every run, just hang them up to air out and they don't stink! I tell you, this is miracle clothing!"
