Diana Gabaldon's Lord John Series (in order by storyline)

F. Dodson
The list author says: "I've seen several lists that show Diana Gabaldon's current works in the Outlander Series, but none that show the order of her Lord John Series. Here is the order as the events occur in the story (as best I can extrapolate).

Amazon's software won't allow a book to be entered into a list twice, so all stories in Hand of Devils are discussed within that link.

For reference to the Outlander timeline, this story begins after LJ's return from Ardsmuir.

Please feel free to offer any corrections or comments, as this is NOT the definitive word on the subject (and is only current through Aug 2010)! Hope you find it helpful! ;o)"

"The Hellfire story in this collection takes place in 1756, and is the first story in the LJ series.  Succubus is the 3rd story in the series, taking place in 1757.  If you're reading in order, this comes after Private Matter, and before Brotherhood. The Haunted Soldier is the 5th story in the series, taking place in 1758, after Brotherhood."

"DG's story "Custom of the Army", is published in this anthology.  I believe it takes place around 1761.  Following this, DG has said she's planning future publication of works called "LJ and the Scottish Prisoner" and "LJ and the Plague of Zombies"."
