Excellent books on healthy eating and diet (for ill people)

The list author says: "This is a list of some of the best books available about diet and what to eat, what to avoid eating and WHY.

Many of these books are excellent choices for healthy people that want to stay well and feel as good as possible as well as ill people. Some of these books are essential reading if you have a neurological disease or any chronic or life-threatening disease.

In a nutshell, eat real food! Avoid trans fats, sugar and vegetable oil as well as highly processed foods and refined carbs. Eat traditional foods such as meats (grass fed and organic if possible), organ meats, cod liver oil, eggs, bone broths, fermented and sprouted foods and a good variety of (cooked or raw)vegetables and a little fruit. Eat good fats and protein until satiety and avoid eating enormously unlimited amounts of carbohydrate.
