She also has to learn that you can not always stay in your comfort zone. It doesn't always work like that. Polly has to learn how to be true to herself and to breakthrough the sterotypes of others areound her. Jo might think that polly is childish and her new friends, especially her new hot coworker-zach, are all that in this world or that the end of the world is coming as she knows it because her mom and dad are seperating. Polly might think that she has to change to become a model and that is what she wants to do. Ama may think that she hates the outdoors, when she might learn to love it. Altogether a great book about gowing up and finding your true friends in this world.
