Hi, I like paranormal romance and urban fantasy--both the dark stuff and the lighter reads. It's nice to have some laugh-out-loud funny novels to read between the darker novels. If you are looking for humorous paranormal romance, look no farther! Check out the list below, which contains some of my favorites. Happy reading!
SHELLY LAURENSTON'S Pride Stories series are my top favorites in the humorous paranormal romance genre. They are hysterical and I love the characters and stories. All about shapeshifters, the series includes (in order, first to last): The Mane Event The Beast in Him The Mane Attraction The Mane Squeeze Beast Behaving Badly Her Magnus Pack series is also very funny, but I didn't like it quite as well as the Pride Stories series. I didn't connect with the female lead characters as well in the Magnus series.
ERIN MCCARTHY's Vegas vampire series are funny, light hearted novels with appealing characters and interesting storylines. The series is one of my favorites in the humorous PNR genre. The books in order: High Stakes (Vegas Vampires, Book 1) Bit the Jackpot Bled Dry Sucker Bet First Blood (anthology) Out of the Light, Into the Shadow (anthology) I also tried some of her contemporary romances, like "The Pregnancy Test" and "You Don't Know Jack" and also found them to be funny, entertaining reads.

CHLOE NEILL'S Chicagoland Vampires series are some of my favorite books by a new author. Couldn't put them down -- they are keepers! An excellent new urban fantasy series, it had many snarky, fun moments with sarcastic humor. I like the leading character Merit as well as the supporting cast. And the romantic tension with master vamp Ethan is just yummy. Can't wait for the next book! Some Girls Bite (Chicagoland Vampires) Friday Night Bites Twice Bitten Hard Bitten
NICOLE PEELER'S Jane True series reminds me in style to Sookie Sackhouse. Quirky, fun, interesting characters and a fast moving plotine. Good mix of adventure, suspense, mystery, humor and romance.
