I'm always after the hottest books across all genres. I'll read everything from political books to thrillers to sports books to autobiographies and a lot in between. As long as the writing is good and the topic is topical, I'm interested. This guide includes everything from the Saints long and heartwarming story of winning the Super Bowl to new politics to time travel adventures and to the latest from Chelsea Handler's wonderfully twisted mind.
The Help I don't go in for the touchy-feely nonsense too often, but too many people told me they liked this book, and it is good. Faces in Time: A Time Travel Thriller I discovered this book locally because this guy is a New Orleans author, and I'm a NOLA native. It's a great time travel story that takes place in New Orleans and Los Angeles. Lies the Government Told You: Myth, Power, and Deception in American History Sad but interesting. Dead in the Family: A Sookie Stackhouse Novel (Sookie Stackhouse/True Blood) Not Without Hope The Survivors Club: The Secrets and Science that Could Save Your Life Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter Too bizarre to pass up. Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang Game Change: Obama and the Clintons, McCain and Palin, and the Race of a Lifetime Final Fantasy VIII: The Official Strategy Guide Not a game but a coffee table book for the gamer in us all. No One Would Listen: A True Financial Thriller The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks Citizens of London: The Americans Who Stood with Britain in Its Darkest, Finest Hour Outliers: The Story of Success Payback Time: Making Big Money Is the Best Revenge! Let the Great World Spin: A Novel The Last Song Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Mission to Promote Peace . . .
