Singularity, that is a very good post. Several years ago, the school in Rochester, MN, that my grandchildren attended, instituted a Muslim prayer room for the Muslim children to go to to say their requred prayers. My daughter ponted out to the administration that no other religion was allowed to have public prayer in the public schools. She was called a racist by the administration. She then insisted that the Christian students also needed a special place where they could go and pray. The Muslim prayer room was then closed. I do not know if it has been reinstated or not, as my grandchildren have since graduated from that school. No pork procducts have been served in the school lunch program in Rochester in deference to the Muslim diet- what about other diets-- vegitarians, gluten free, fruitarians, vegans, raw food adherence? Where would it end? In our rush to be accepting of all, we are losing what makes us American. We are bing accepting of other cultures, but other...

Do you really think there is a single soul in this country who would like to prevent others from getting insurance or lowering the cost of their healthcare? Of course there isn't! But, the 'Health Care Reform' bill has nothing to do with health care and everything to do with Government taking control. There are many ways to substantially reduce the cost of health care, but none of these ways are in the bill.
I wish people would examine the decisions instead falling in line with party stances. The Left vs Right and Right vs Left mentallity will be the downfall of this country. Both sides are screwing us for their own power and pocketbooks. Smokers, Obesity, Meat-eaters, and Diabetics all cost more money to treat in healthcare. If the government is paying for your healthcare, it stands to reason they will have a say in which operations and prcedures you can have or how much you can cost a year. It also stands to reason they would have a say in what you could eat and how much... 21 hours ago

Muslims in the U.S. are at a fundamental conflict with their religion. Tens of millions of Muslims believe that Israel does not have the right to exist; that "Infidels" deserve nothing less than death, and the U.S., being Israel's benefactor is on par with the Jews, and that we should also be killed, any one of us.
It wouldn't matter if the U.S. built schools, bought food, and provided medical care for every poverty stricken Islamic child. They would take the aid because we foolishly give it thinking it will change their hearts, it HASN'T and it WON'T. When the frequent earthquakes destroy villages in Pakistan, we go there with millions in medical aid, food and supplies. The aid is accepted, but still we are the infidels. Many Muslims live in enclaves in this country, like Dearborn Michigan, but they say they're "In it, but not of it". They don't want to assimilate to our culture, they create their own communities and hope to change OUR laws to suit... 1 day ago
