This movie is such a wonderful cinematic experience for Christians and non-Christians alike. The supremely talented and beautiful AJ Michalka delivers an absolutely draw-you-in performance as Grace, an 18-year-old singer whose relationship with God is put to the ultimate test when she flies out to Hollywood to try to become the chart-topping superstar she's always dreamed of being. Along the way she endures a number of pitfalls and faces the ultimate challenge or either giving up her Christian faith entirely or rediscovering it for the good of her family. Whether you truly believe in God and the effort He puts into keeping us all safe or just want to watch a great movie, you will not be disappointed one bit by this enormously heartwarming and inspiring story of finding the right path to take and knowing what the Lord Himself has in mind for you. Grace Unplugged is seriously a phenomenal film that you must see and share with all your loved ones.

Closing Thoughts (Staff Review, NewReleaseTuesday.com)
Grace Unplugged is an excellent faith-based film that I plan to watch with each of my three daughters and lovingly discuss with them my desire for each of them to personally "own" their saving faith in Jesus Christ. The story of the Prodigal Son in Luke's Gospel account (Luke 15:11-32), is everyone's story. In one way or another, we all want our inheritance and want to squander everything with prodigal living. The Good News of the Gospel is that we're never too far away from the reach of our loving Father, God.

To enter God's Kingdom, we all need to proclaim, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and in Your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called Your son" (Luke 15:21, NKJV). God's answer to each of us who return to Him will be: "for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found" (Luke 15:24, NKJV). That's cause for celebration!

If you are looking for songs filled with prayers to express your commitment to God, you'll want to also get the life-giving soundtrack for the movie, which has four songs by AJ Michalka, and also includes Jamie-Grace, Colton Dixon, tobyMac, and Chris Tomlin—who has a cameo appearance in the film as well.

If you liked the faith based films Soul Surfer, Courageous and Home Run, then you absolutely must see Grace Unplugged. It is easily the most entertaining and life giving film I've seen this year. The movie is a beautiful, well-acted and inspirational portrayal of grace—"God's riches at Christ's expense."

I was touched by this movie and it made me sincerely cry. I watched it with my 11 year old daughter and I felt so good watching such a good moral, spiritual, impacting movie with her.

I loved this movie! It was great to watch a movie with my daughters who are 9 and feel good about it! Some of the situations were a touch old for them, but they are nearing that age where we need to engage in conversation about these situations anyway. (Whether i want to or not!!! :I ) I loved that wrong was made right and God was glorified in this movie!

If you want to go for a movie that you will love, a movie that will pull at your heart-strings, Grace Unplugged is the one you should go for. One of the most inspiring movies which has won AJ Michalka Best Film Actress and James Denton Best Film Actor, Grace Unplugged is moving, compelling, gripping and just plain fantastic.

It is a movie that teaches you that sometimes, chasing your dreams leads you right to where you belong. Follow the inspiring story of Grace Trey, who just turned 18, as she chases her dreams. You'll be bowled over by AJ Michalka as Grace and the movie. It is an endearing story that encourages you to live out your faith in the real world. Don’t miss it for anything in the world.

This is a wonderful movie about one who made wrong choices and was able to change her circumstances, although not without consequences. The acting was superb and plot was well done. This movie is a must see for families with teens who are questioning their choices in life.

This was a great film for parents to watch with their teens. It shows the struggles that young adults have when they go off on their own and the temptations they face that are put in front of them every day. And for parents, it is a reminder that when kids leave home, they are out of our hands but they are in the hands of God and that He is ultimately in control. Okay, as the mother of one who has left the nest and another who is getting ready to launch, maybe I was a little extra emotional. I cried more than once during this movie, but they were "good" cries. Great movie.
