It's easy to watch videos from Amazon Instant Video by connecting your Extender to a Windows PC. Here's how.
- Connect your Extender and your PC to your home network (wired connection recommended). For details, see setting up a home network.
- If you haven't yet connected your Extender to work with your Windows Media Center computer, set up your Windows Media Center Extender.
- Install the Amazon Unbox Video Player on your Windows PC.
Now all the videos you have downloaded from Amazon Instant Video should be showing on your Extender for
Windows Media Center.
If you have trouble watching your videos from Amazon Instant Video or if videos you expect to see in your list aren't showing up, try the following:
- Launch the Amazon Unbox Player on your PC to confirm that the video has been downloaded and will play.
- Launch Windows Media Center on your PC to confirm that the video appears in the Video library and will play.
- Reboot your Windows Media Extender.
