It's hard to get him to try a new book or series... anyone have any proven book choices for this age based on his love of the wimpy kids series (we already have them all and he's read them multiple times).

Thanks!

Sideways Stories From Wayside School by Louis Sachar (also wrote Holes) is another big hit at our house. Each chapter is about a different teacher or student relating to the class on the 30th floor.

Sweet Farts by Raymond Bean. A fourth grader tries to cure the smell of farts for his science fair project. The next book in the series comes out on 8/3.

Does he like comics? Asterix is a series from France - excellent. First book is Asterix the Gaul.
