This book is somewhat dated at this point.But to give you an idea why this book is a definitive book for all guitar players. With chapters range from history of guitar to formation of guitar companies, models in its time period, music theory, amplifier and effects..on & on...you will become a wealth of knowledge on the subject of guitar in no time. Pictures are also very appealing with some classic guitars not seen in other books. for its value on the used book market, it's a must have. I have personally purchased several copies to give out to my students. This book is one of the reasons why I started to modify and build guitars. If guitar is your passion, this book will serve you well. |
