4.0 out of 5 stars A novel take on the game., February 9, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: .hack//G.U.+ Volume 4 (Paperback)
I almost thought for sure the previous volume would be it for the series, but G.U.+ storms back. While the series has deviated from the game in a number of ways, I believe it retains much of the spirit of the original story. Further, it manages to integrate some of the vital backstory which was only available for the games via the End of The World extra disk that was available only in the limited edition of the first G.U. game. It manages to incorporate this through the introduction of a ruthless new character. While interesting, I do feel that the story is a bit rushed at points. Overall, I feel .hack enthusiasts will be happy to include this into their collection.
