I have a HDMI cable. Is this headset hard to set up?

Yes. Alternatively you can set the PS3 to output audio through the VGA cable and video through the HDMI cable. That way you can skip the receiver altogether.

You can set the Output in the PS3 to Multi, and you will hear it in TV and headset, so you dont have to change the setting every time you re plugging it, you just have to mute your TV.
