A fascinating look at American radicalism at the turn of the '70s,

Anyone interested in either the history of the American peace/anti-war movement or the history of American radicalism in general will find this collection of essays rewarding. McReynolds went on to become the Socialist Party candidate for president in 1980 and 2000 and picked up the mantle of Norman Thomas, Eugene Debs, and Frank Zeidler. This book is a penetrating look inside various aspects of the late '60s peace movement that somehow doesn't seem that dated 38 years later. Highly recommended.
