It's just simply a book. The inside and back cover pages have the themed pages and the teachers signed there with a thin marker (so it was able to be read). There are the cover pages, etc. where the teachers can write, as well.
I am getting this book for each of my kids and will give it to their kindergarden teachers, teachers, principals, coaches,... to sign. Which version would you recommend, the 1990 (56 pages) one or the 2010 (48 pages) one? Thank you
Yes, it does have a few spots, but why not have the teachers write around the story? I mean, that's what I hope will happen with my copies for my little ones (I have one who I asked the pre-school teacher to write in it. My other is only 12 months old). I had a family member opt out of having a guest book and instead used a huge cookbook that looked like food porn in my opinion (high calories and fattening dishes that you might only make on special occasions when you don't mind the extra butter etc)and they had a sign that said "Pick a recipe you like, find some space and write!" and they said later they would go through the recipes as many as they could on an anniversary and be able to remember the people that were there at their wedding. Kinda the same idea I think with this book and words of encouragement.
