A Serial Killer Tale But With Deep Thought and Much More,
This review is from: The Holy Terror (Kindle Edition)
In the interest of full disclosure, Wayne is my friend, but that's not what makes me like his book. "The Holy Terror" is a dark, scary serial killer novel with police procedural elements, but it's also peopled with well-realized characters who populate a Chicago landscape that no one knows as well as Wayne Sallee. He's a long-time Windy City resident with a keen eye for the detail of the world around him and an artist's soul that captures the heart and spirit of everyday people faced with challenges and hardships. "The Holy Terror" is the story of people affected by a serial killer's acts as much as it is about the suspense of the manhunt, and you should read it just to meet Evan Shustak, The American Dream. The new Kindle edition is an opportunity to discover a great writer's work.
