100 years of stamps,

I give this book five stars because it's so detailed. It has everything you need to know about stamps issued in Iceland between the years 1873-1973.
The pictures of the stamps are large, clear on a grey background so it's easy to see the stamps. Information on the stamps is very good, but it is not a book which you bring with you to bed to read. I use it mainly to brush up on knowledge on the stamps when I have forgotten something about them. The book is very heavy (3,68 lb) and it's not out of print. You can still buy it from the Icelandic stamp home page. This is a book you should own if you are a collector. It's the only book that has so much information. |
