Amazing Device--it is like a "real" pc!, November 8, 2007
I did quite a bit of research before investing in my first handheld device and I had a very limited budget for it. I looked at the Palm devices, and the Nokia n800 series, as well as several Dell and HP pocket pc models. I decided that, at least for now, Windows Mobile appeared the best way to go in terms of ease of use and value and I'm very happy that I made that decision. I wanted to spend between $200 and $300 and was looking for a device that had a key pad included, WiFi, and a basic word processing application. The hw6925 had all of these features PLUS it is also a phone. I'm not currently using the device as a cell phone, but I may in the future. I've been delighted with the functionality of the Windows Mobile software--it is very easy to use and includes Mobile versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint! I also had no problem setting up the e-mail software included to work with my ISP. Overall, I simply can't believe that this much functionality is now available at this price. I've invested in a portable keyboard and plan to leave my much too heavy laptop at home when I'm working away from my office. The version of the hw6925 that is listed here is for Cingular and is not unlocked. I would have preferred an unlocked phone, but to get that, I would have spent twice the price of this one. If you're looking for a business-ready pocket pc, I highly recommend this one.

Great device with some bugs, February 25, 2008
I've owned my new ipaq since 45 days for now,and I admit that it is a great device to use in day to day work,as an IT Manager for a large enterprise organization,I'm able now to not miss any Task or meeting and stay connected .
The only problem that I've faced is that as a phone the response is slow,and sometimes you are forced to soft reset the machine.
If you need to get more organized then get it.

A fine PDA phone for most users, January 9, 2009
As PDA phones go, this is/was one of the better ones. I have also used Blackberrys and the older Siemens units (SX55 and SX66) and this was probably the best overrall. The OS is now a little bit dated, but the core functionality is still very good. The unit is a near-perfect size for a PDA phone, with a screen that isn't too big or too small. It is not the fastest in terms of the Edge connections (slower than a 3G iPhone) but when using WiFi you should be fine. The bluetooth works great and I was even able to connect a BT stereo headset with no problems. There is a slot for a flashcard if you want to listen to mp3's (wired or wireless headphones)and the GPS works great, even though the battery drain is pretty bad with everything switched on. In the car, I try to leave it connected to the car charger. The MS apps work fine and I have never had stylus/screen trouble. Not a lot of room for onboard apps, but if you install to the flashcard you will have plenty of room to add Opera etc.

-Good screen brightness/resolution
-any stylus will work fine
-card slot
-excellent keyboard
-works in Europe
Cons:
-pricey
-a little power hungry (for medium/heavy useage you will need to charge every night)
-slower than current PDA phones
-OS is a little dated now
