STOP EXPECTING MIRACLE PILLS, February 4, 2010
I never felt the urge to post a review on any products I purchase, until I came across the reviews of my beloved Hydroxycut.
Before I get started let me give you a description of myself:
I am a 22 year-old male, 5'6", and currently weighing in at 156 lbs with 16.3% body fat.
I have been conducting my own experament using hydroxycut. I only use Hydroxycut Hardcore during my deployments (military), weaning myself off just before coming back to the states. During my months stateside, I workout regularly using the same supplements I use deployed MINUS Hydroxycut Hardcore. Granted this was before Hydroxycut Hardcore X, which I will explain later.
Using a rather expensive scale (measures BMI, % bodyfat, % water, ect) it has been clear that using the same workout schedule (with minor changes to prevent plateaus) and a calorie-shifting diet pattern, the Hydroxycut Hardcore (recalled formula) made a considerable difference in fat-burning.
I am currently deployed and am now using the new formula. 6 days ago marks 2 months, so I do not have the complete results. However, thus far it can be confirmed that this new formula has the same affect as the previous, with a two minor differences:
- Doesn't produce as much of a caffeine "high"
- Less "Sedentary Sweating"
With my method of periodic use of Hydroxycut, it nullifies the point some make stating "well when one uses the product consistently, their body gets used to it, thus making its effects less... effective".
Thus far I can conclude that the Hydroxycut Hardcore X produces the same results as the previous formula with exception of the two effects previously mentioned. It works as advertised.
But remember this! EVERYONE'S BODY IS DIFFERENT! Don't take my word for it, find out if it works for you too! Gather as much information as you can, but be a skeptic. Read books, check the forums and, most of all, ask questions! Believe nothing you hear, 5% of what you read, and only 50% of what you see. Most of learning will involve trying things for yourself and see what works for you so don't trust anything you hear or read unless there is published, peer-reviewed, university research which backs up the claims. Remember that not too long ago proper nutrition was "three square meals a day" with lots of red meat, cheese, and dairy. Especially be skeptical of any claims in muscle magazines because many exist just to sell supplements.
My apologies for dragging on. I just hate it when I see people complain about a Dietary supplement not being effective bc "it doesn't motivate me to go to the gym". IT'S NOT DESIGNED FOR THAT. It AIDS in fat-loss. It doesn't do all the work for you. Motivation should come from within, not from a miracle pill.
All in all despite the minor differences, this formula is just as effective as the previous, and I will continue my evaluation for the duration of this deployment and will post the end results.

Works Great But Use Carefully, July 4, 2009
I rated this product four stars as it did deliver the results it promised. Lost 10 - 15 in a few weeks, had improved mood and energy, made eating much less temping and smaller meals more satisfying. Strongly recommend this product compared to what else is out there, just caution on the dosage. I would strongly agree people that don't use get enough physical activity to heed other's warnings with taking even the recommended dose. Start with one for the times as directed and slowly increase based on how you are reacting also drink lots of water. I got up to the three a day and I started having headaches so don't be afraid to take it a little slow after all you will save money by taking less.

This Product help me lose 16lbs in about 6 weeks....UPDATED 3.5.10, January 29, 2010
First of all I used to work out like crazy when I was younger. I am currently 46 years old. I was 6'2" and 216lbs. I just started doing some cardio and noticed the weight was coming off pretty good. I then read about this product and gave it a shot. I can say from Jan 13 until Jan 29, 2010 I have lost 10 lbs (now 206lbs) using this product along with about 2-3 days of cardio (30-45 minute sessions) burning 600-800+ Calories per workout.
I am not saying you will have the same results as anyone who takes these pills or has extremely unrealistic expectations from a pill - do not bother. This pill alone I have a feeling will help you lose weight but to truly benefit you should really do some form of exercise. Oh and almost forgot you must change your diet that is 50% of any weight loss battle. I did cut out a lot of carbs but do have some sweets maybe 1 or 2 days a week but nothing ridiculous. When you see how long it takes to burn 800 carlories you think twice before indulging!
Also, please note: My personal dosage I started out with 1 pill in the morning and another pill around 2:30pm. I then felt I could handle more (they recommend 3 tablets twice a day) so I am only taking a pill at 7am, 11pm, 2pm. I noticed if I took a pill before I did my evening cardio I could not sleep well. I kept taking it earlier and earlier until I found the right dosage and implementation time for my body. You should do the same!
I will post a follow up after a full month. My target goal is 200lbs.
Follow-up: (2-23-10) now down to 202lbs. I have not gone to the gym as much though I have been watching my caloric intake more. DOWN 14 lbs in 6 weeks.
FINAL FOLLOW-UP: (3-4-10) I have achieved my target weight of 200lbs. FIRST I MUST ADMIT...I stop going to the gym the last three weeks to see if I would still lose weight and I did lose another 2 lbs. I am at my ideal weight and have changed my eating habits. I am not saying this product will give you the same results. All I know is this product worked for me. In less than 6 weeks I lost 16lbs, I am only taking 1 pill a day and I still lost 2lbs.
