Installed in a 2004 Honda Accord EX-L coupe w/o navigationPros: Fairly easy to install, iPod/iPhone + AUX input, iPod/iPhone control via factory radio, Steering Wheel controls, Text display, Charges iPod/iPhone, Good sound, does not lock you out of iPod/iPhone when used Cons: loss of XM/satellite radio, Not easy to navigate large music libraries (2500+ songs) when using factory radio controls The problem I had when I bought my car uses was the lack of an AUX input for my iPhone. But when you think about it in 2004 they had not concept of an iPhone, the 1st iPhone was not released until 2007 and iPods were just becoming mainstream. So I installed this bad boy and solved my problem plus more. I have had this dice model for about a month now and I love it. I did not use or want to pay for the XM/Satellite, I would rather have iPod/iPhone capabilities so this is ideal for me. Who needs satellite radio anyways when you have Pandora (via iPhone). The thing I was sold on was the text display feature, it is a very cool and impressive to all the passengers I have shown, than you add in steering wheel controls and they are blown away. It looks as if it is a factory installed option. Installation is fairly easy, I did it myself in about 2 hours, you can see the process at this website (not mine) [...]. I chose to put the AUX (3.5mm) input by the cigarette lighter under the arm rest, I used this 3.5mm mounting kit without problem (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003B01AHS). I like the fact that when using iPod connection I can use the factory radio to control the iPod or just grab the iPod and navigate with it to select my next song/album/playlist. I usually select an album or play list before I start driving and use the Steering wheel controls to skip to the next song or go back to a previous song. I use the AUX input a lot for my daughter's portable DVD player in the back seat, the sound from the DVD player speakers are not very loud, so AUX input is a life saver. I would highly recommend to friends and family.

Its quite simple to install. If you have a 05 honda accord, im not sure what other years look like, then this website will give you step by step instructions to installing it very easily. "www . beaufordbuddy . com / ipod _ install _ 1"(no spaces) In those instructions it says to use the Blitzsafe but that doesn't show the text onto the stereo like this does. I was weary on getting this because i wasnt sure if it was going to display the text the way i wanted it to.On one side of this DICE there are setting switches and getting them set the right way was the only problem I had. If you have any questions about this product leave a comment and i will answer to the best of my ability.

Ordered this item after dragging a## for months because I figured the tape adapter I was using worked good. I cannot express how poor the tape adapter was in comparison. My 04 Acura TL audio system sounds brand new, this item is a MUST if you have an iPhone or iPod. I can skip tracks with steering wheel controls, track title displays on the radio's dash. It's perfect. I wasted months of time listening to music without the full spectrum of sound available on my car audio system and my iPhone 4, stupid me!You lose your XM Radio, but that sounds like garbage compared to audio from the iDevice, guess I don't really care about sat radio anymore. But this device does appear to have Sirius radio interface, not sure how that works. Installation in my Acura was a bear, but well worth it.

Installed this on my 05 tsx 6man non nav. Installation was easy breezy. 10-15 minutes depending on how you want to route your cable. Aux port is a plus in the event you want to use a non apple product. If I had known how easy it would be, I wouldnt have wasted so many cds.

Awesome Product. I ordered the R3 version which is for the non-navi Acura Vehicle from Krazed Audio through Amazon, and they send me the newer product, the Silver DUO, which is the replacement of the R3/R4 combined. Got a killer deal! Can't wait to install it.

I bought this for my wife for mothers day. After a few weeks, when I plugged my Ipod in I got an error message that my Ipod is not compatible with this device. So, I reinstalled the entire unit. The plug that goes into the back of the stereo must have reset the unit because it was working again. After another two weeks it stopped working again. Both times when it stopped working, I was unable to select the XM/Aux button on the stereo. Not sure what is going on but can't find anyone on their website that I can talk to about this issue. The Amazon details state "Will work with in-dash CD changers that are part of the main radio", but the PDF manual for this unit I found online says it does not work with in-dash 6 changer CD. Not sure if this is why I'm having an issue. I'm going to take the unit apart AGAIN and see if I can fix the problem.

I ordered this item and recieved the new Dice silverline duo in the box, I got to say it works axactly as it supposed to. Once I figured out how to remove the radio in my 2003 honda accord it took me less than 10 minutes to hook up. You cannot go wrong with this baby. Get it now.

This IPOD connector works perfectly! Just what I wanted. I now can eliminate having to have 100's of CD's in my car. I have an IPOD Touch. Now I can sit back and watch movies, play games and hear the sound right through my speakers! I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to convert their stock radio into an IPOD! Much better then having to replace the entire radio. I love it!
