Bought two of these items. One worked fairly well except it picks up extraneous transmissions and interference to the extent it is unusable. As you drive down the road You get a real appreciation for the power company's AC presence. I hear AC on this thing that reminds me of the days of the old AM (Amplitude Modulated) radios which at times were totally drowed out by commercial AC noise. The second one works ok in one auto, almost not at all in the other. I've noticed that at least one of them gets really hot on the barrel which plugs into the cigaret lighter. Thumbs down on these two items. Received several Emails regarding negative feedback on one of the two already, sorry but this is a thumbs down in reality - I have no reason to make this stuff up.

So, it worked alright I suppose. I used a Zune connected via a normal plug (3.5mm male-to-male cord) and an adapter (since it narrows itself down to 2.5 mm), and it did play fine for a while (2 months).
However, I was playing around with it and somehow I was slightly too hard on it, and the soldering that connected the input port to the PCB fell off. As in, the input 2.5mm fell off the board and could not use it any further. Hoping to resolder it soon, but yeah, definitely not the most reliable thing ever. Remote worked... I think? Barely used it considering I was using the Zune instead of a USB drive or SD card.

This unit worked great out of the box. Crystal clear sound with no discernable background noise. 30 minutes into my daily commute I started to hear quite a bit of noise. Tried to change frequency but the unit was locked up and none of the buttons would do anything. Tried the remote and ditto. Unplugged it from the cigarette lighter and it hasn't worked since. If anybody wants this unit, you can find it at my local landfill.
