2.0 out of 5 stars
not as advertised, March 13, 2008
The good news:
It paired quickly and easily with my T-mobile Blackberry Curve.
Speaker quality reasonable; nice and loud.
The bad news:
It wouldn't transfer my address book, not even a single entry.
The interface for entering phone numbers by hand is cumbersome at best.
Though advertised as "Bluetooth 2.0 compliant", when dealing with customer service by email, I was told repeatedly it was Bluetooth 1.2 compliant. Big difference.
I don't think anyone in customer support is a competent speaker of English. I'm not asking for Shakespeare, but this is more like dealing with a very rudimentary chatbot: a limited number of stereotyped and repeated responses. After I politely complained about the poor level of support, no more of support requests were ever answered.
Voice dialing worked poorly. Might be my phone. But alone the phone works better than with the iLuv.
RECOMMENDATION: Don't Buy, if you expect anything more than what a bluetooth headset would provide. I will steer clear of all products made by this company in the future and its affiliated company JWIN.
