This review is from: iArmBands armband for the ipod NANO 4th and 5th generation (4, 8 & 16 gigs!). (Electronics)
The arm band is ok. It does what it needs to do, which is hold the Nano while you're running. However, my complaint is that the plastic cover is too thick, and the buttons and scrolling doesn't work well, so I end up sliding the thing in and out a lot, or having it hang out to where I can reach the skip button easily.
A few people were complaining about it being small, and I'm female with skinny arms, and I have plenty of room to grow, in case I end up getting really ripped or something. There's an extra little velcro thing on the side, that I'm not sure what it's supposed to be for, but I use it to hold the headphones when they're not in use. Kind of a handy feature.

This fit my sons ipod perfectly. It would not fit with the cover on it, so we had to remove the protective cover, then it fit nicely.

Too small for men,

I would recommend this product only if you are a woman. I bought this for my husband, and it barely fits around his bicep. He will be able to wear it while on the treadmill, but not while doing bicep curls. I would say he has slightly above average bicep size for a guy.
If you are a woman or a smaller-armed guy, this product is a great value! iPod fits fine and buttons are usable while in the armband.

Being new to ipods I thought the 4th generation was the 4GB device. So mine does not fit correctly. The velcro tab will not close because the 4th generation ones are longer. So I can't use the armband anyway. The other thing is that this is a very small band. I do have large arms for a woman and it barely fits me. A man with any kind of biceps would not be able to use this armband. People with very slim upper arms won't have a problem and moderate arms will still be able to secure it properly. Not bad for the price but be sure you know what you need.

Terrible Design, Worse Implementation,

Just to start, this armband would be too small for Shawn Johnson, the woman's gymnast.
On top of that, the lead designer appears to have been a 5 year old because there is no way that the velcro on the strap can actually hold the strap unless it is meant to go around a finger, not your arm. I would be better off using rubber bands to support my iPod while working out.

I bought these armband and i had to cut the plastic that covers the iPod clicker because it didn't work the other way, my iPod couldn't fit well so i had to force it to, the armband doesn't have the exact same size as iPod nano 3rd Gen, and the band is a little short for chubby arms like mine. Men should not buy these product because of its width.
