1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth a dime December 12, 2011

I'm always looking for new and interesting ways to make myself get up in the mornings. Big fan of Clocky and it's ilk, so I thought I'd give this a try. After the first morning, it appears to work as advertised except for two big problems and 1 minor one:
1. The alarm sound doesn't go off.
2. You don't have to aim very well to hit the target. Heck, a full 15 degree arm swing right of the target was enough to check it.
3. You can record your own sound, but even on playback, the sound is extremely soft. Since it doesn't play at all when the alarm goes off, it's kinda academic though.

Do not waste your money folks. Try something else.

1.0 out of 5 stars Broken January 3, 2012
I purchased this as a gift for my brother. I was very excited, as I knew he'd get a kick out of it. On Christmas morning, when he opened it, we were all eager to see it in action. The thing wouldn't even turn on! We tried several different brand new batteries, etc... but still nothing. The gun made noise but the clock was faulty. Really bummed.

The clock came broken! Cheap plastic and very disappointing! We put the batteries in and the alarm kept blaring. Batteries had to be removed to shut it up! Don't waste your time or money purchasing this!

This item didnt last 2 weeks .. waste of money. My grandson wanted this and i bought it for his 6th birthday and I wished I didnt. 1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing August 24, 2012

Shooting the target down when the alarm goes off was pretty satisfying.

So what's the problem? The instructions for setting the time and the alarm are not very user-friendly. The way you set the time is pretty much exactly the same way you set the alarm, so when I first set the thing up, I'd accidentally set the time when I thought I was setting the alarm, causing me to be late to work and classes. The alarm continues to sound periodically even after having shot the target down.

Overall, I had nothing but problems with this thing and ended up returning it for a refund. I love the concept of this product, but the execution of it was extremely disappointing.

1.0 out of 5 stars Garbage December 18, 2011
By mbswife
This clock was a gift for my son. When we opened the box the battery cover for the gun was missing and the screw to hold the battery cover for the actually clock was missing. It has not even been used yet but we are not off to a good start. I know i will be looking for a new clock for him with in a week. Save your money!

3.0 out of 5 stars Good idea just not sure of I would recommend. December 30, 2011

I bought this for Christmas for my 5 year old son because he has a new found love for laser tag so I thought this would be perfect. The idea of this clock was great so that he could have a fun way to wake up for school every morning but then we found out some flaws with the alarm. We were hoping that you would shoot at the target to turn the alarm off but it would only snooze and the off button is just a random button that would be hard for a 5 year old to figure out. Then my son started his winter break so we tried turning the alarm off just until he starts school again and YOU CAN'T!! It's really frustrating but I guess once he starts school back up we can put the batteries back in..

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed December 24, 2011
By Carol
I thought this would be a cool gift for my boyfriend who is a gun enthusiast. We were both very disappointed when he opened it. It is very cheaply made. Required six AA batteries. Requireds NO skill to turn off the alarm or play the games. The games actually said good shot when he held the "gun" under the table or covered it when he "shot"..... We are returning it after less than one day ......
