After having purchased two pricey SPECK cases for my 13.3" Macbook Air and having them both break, it was time to explore a less expensive option. I was skeptical about this product because some of the reviews stated that the bottom half of this case didn't fit their machines, but I can happily say that this 100% fit my laptop! Unlike my previous $40+ SPECK cases, the bottom of this hard case has vents to release heat that can build up when using the laptop!

It seems sturdy enough, but truthfully, I think it's unrealistic to expect something made of plastic to be indestructible...especially since I had two pricey ones break on me. I love the matching keyboard protector too...fits like a charm. This was a solid buy and will be my go-to option from now on. How great would it be if this one outlasts those two expensive cases I bough?!

I was debating whether to order the iBenzer or Top Case hard case cover with mouse pad. Top Case had slightly better reviews so I went with that one. However, when it arrived a large chunk of it was broken off even thought there was no damage to the box it came in. I returned it and ordered the iBenzer. I've had this case for two months now and am still very pleased with it. Here's a comparison between my Top Case and iBenzer purchases:
Top Case:
~Pads: The other reviews mentioned this, but didn't seem to be too bothered about it: the bottom pads are cheap. When I received it I was very disappointed because not only were they very cheap, rounded white plastic pieces, but they were also very sloppily glued on. They weren't even placed directly into their molds!
~Mouse pad: This wasn't a big deal for me since I purchased it solely for the case, but the mouse pad that comes with it is very cheap as well. It's just a piece of thin foam. Don't let the mouse pad entice you into buying it!

iBenzer:
~Pads: The pads on the bottom are much better than the Top Case ones! They are soft, flat white foam pieces that are placed perfectly into their molds. My only concern is that they may flatten out over time, but so far they're still holding up like new!
~Keyboard cover: This was a big complaint in other comments, but I don't mind it at all. It may take some getting used to, but I actually like it. My one complaint is that when the letters on the keys light up, they don't fit the letters on the keyboard cover so this creates a weird double vision look. But this isn't a big deal to me since the letters on my keyboard aren't lit up that often and I usually don't look down at my keyboard. Also, the color of the keyboard cover goes beautifully with the case! Speaking of color...
~Color: I ordered the Robin Egg Blue Top Case and the Turquoise iBenzer. The turquoise is so much more vibrant! Personally, I like it much better. Also, the Top Case was a glossy plastic, while the iBenzer is more of a matte plastic. I've also never noticed leaving any fingerprint marks on mine.
~Fit: Since my Top case arrived broken I will never know how it would have fit, however, the iBenzer case fits very well. You will need some strong hands to put it on and I bet it's even harder to take off, so make sure you're committed to the case! One reason I initially chose the Top Case over the iBenzer was because some of the iBenzer reviews mentioned an irritating ridge around the wrist area. I don't know if it's because of the color I ordered or because they fixed this problem, but this ridge does not exist for me!

In my opinion, if you're debating between getting a Top Case or iBenzer, I'd go with the iBenzer. I got to handle both and I looking back, I'm so glad the Top Case came broken.

The many hundreds of positive reviews of this case shell for the MacBook Pro are more than justified. I ordered the clear shell and am very much pleased with how it fits and feels. I've always been concerned that I my MBP would slip from my fingers when trying to slide it out of my carry case. The smooth aluminum case is beautiful but has no easy way to grip it. For this reason alone I hoped this shell would help me and it really does this. The shell has a slightly non-slip surface that easily allows my fingers to hold it without slipping. In addition the shell fits like a glove and I think improves the overall appearance of the laptop. I purposely chose the clear color since it doesn't add any new color to the case while providing a soft satin look. Both the lower and upper shell halves fit very well. I do not anticipate having to take them off since it might be possible to snap off the small molded clips on the shell edges. This should be done carefully. The included keyboard thin membrane is an interesting item. Right now I still have it in place but it does make typing a little strange to me. It's probably very protective of incidental liquid spills, food crumbs and debris but the feel on my finger tips is something I'm having difficulty with. I guess this is an individual matter. It's easy to put on and off but be sure there's no dust under it when you put it in place since everything will show through. Overall I'm very happy with the iBenzer solution. I can't see how it could be improved.

Stop searching, that's what YOU want
I bought this case for my girl friend because she wanted a rubberized, pretty case for her Macbook Air. I used to buy my recent case from iBenzer. So when I saw its store on Amazon this time, I found this turquoise (tifany blue) case. That's excatly what she wants. As I know, Tiffany is her favorite brand. So this tifany blue case could let her fall in love with. Actually, this case did a better job than I tought. She really really really like this case, and the color is exactly what she expect.

There are couple of reasons I gave five stars to this product:

1, Lightweight and fits MacBook Air 13'' perfectly.
2, Matte finish resists fingerprints really well
3, The color is Sooooooooooooo pretty!

4, The price worths every penny you spend.

Overall, I would say this was a great purchase and I would recommend it to anyone! You can't beat the price. I love love love this case. And my girl friend as well of course! It was definitely a great purchase!

It arrived on time and it looks great on my daughter's 13" MacBook Air. You can also see her decals and the Apple logo through it. And the keyboard looks great too. Everything came in great condition with no scratches or cracks. I have no complaints. (The colour is purple btw)

I was really stoked on this purchase. I ordered a case from a different company and it was at least $6 more expensive with no keyboard cover. It arrived with some dirty spots, so I returned it and took my chances with this case. SO happy I did. This case is literally the exact same except for two things 1) the other company etched their logo into the top 2) the other case had black plastic feet and this one has white foam feet. The foam feet are the only thing I do not like on this case, they look cheap and I think they'll come off easily. However, it's still totally worth the purchase (afterall they're on the bottom and not visible).

This case is matte and the Apple logo shines through brightly when the computer is on. It matches up with the edges of my computer perfectly and fit snuggly. I do not fear that it will fall off or scratch my computer. The keyboard cover sits over the keyboard and is not attached but it lays pretty perfectly and I have not had any trouble typing with it.

Overall, I'm really happy I went with this case over the other. I would recommend this case if you have a macbook pro 15 inch with retina display. I think the people talking about "the case didn't fit my computer" probably just ordered the incorrect case for their model.

Ok so I just got this in the mail but so far so good. I love the color (which was the color I had originally wanted but with Speck could only get more of a hot pink). It fits perfectly and feels so nice. I'll see how long it lasts but for the price I'm super happy with it, especially considering I've had 2 expensive Speck cases that have broken in less than 7 months so I will be impressed with anything better than the $50 alternative. The keyboard cover is a bonus for me and a darker pink but not a big deal to me.

Fits perfectly.. A few minor details I don't like. The edge on the bottom (its what holds the laptop and case together) bothers my wrist when typing.. maybe it should have been placed on sides instead.

The bottom "stands" has a foamy thing.. would have been better if it was rubberized which would help with the sliding and better grip with surface.

Keyboard cover takes a while to get used to. Wish it fit better though. It doesn't fit exactly into the grooves so the corners come up a bit. Helps with the keyboard noise while I type in class.

**UPDATE 3/2015**
Case is still holding up really well. I knocked a corner against a wall when I was walking and it cracked a tiny bit, nothing major. The keyboard cover is starting to fall apart.. My letter E has a hole in the rubber. Still glad I purchased.

Just received this product in the mail. Delivery was quick considering my location, ~8 days, and 2 weeks ahead of the projected delivery date. That's also because the oder is fulfilled by Amazon.

Anyway, this case is quick and easy to snap on. The bottom portion is easy to figure out due to the cutouts. The top portion is a little tricky since it's the same thickness and shape all over. Basically, make sure that the two little tabs that are further apart from each other are at the top of the screen housing. The two tabs for the bottom line up with the hinge of the MacBook.

I bought this for the MacBook Air, so there were no problems with sizing. Some of the reviews talk about how it will not fit their MacBook Pro. Just make sure you read all the way through the information and description before purchasing. It is clearly stated which MacBooks the cases will not fit.

As for the silicone keyboard cover, it's okay I guess. It fits over the keys just fine with no real shifting once in place. I use the keyboard for just that, to cover the keys. Where I have my computer, there is a lot of dust that accumulates, so I use an external keyboard.
