We purchased this stroller for our twins who are now 5 mos old. We also looked at getting the Bugaboo Donkey (a ridiculously enormous stroller), the City Select, and Britax B-ready. We picked the iCandy because it is the most compact twin stroller we could find, and the only one that fits two bassinets. It was also much easier to push and the quality of its parts is much better. No flimsy plasticy parts. We used the bassinets exclusively for the first 3 mos. They were very convenient and the twins slept in them during the day. Now that they have out grown them, they are using the regular seats at a half recline. We absolutely love this stroller. We live in an area that has very poor sidewalks, and this stroller handles them well. Even pushes great on gravel or grass. It is very user friendly to break down/put up and load into the car. It fits fine in the trunk of our sedan. It comes with bug nets and rain covers for both bassinets and regular seats. One downside is that the bug net doesn't seal properly on the lower seat as the upper seat is in the way. Hasn't been a huge issue though. We ordered the sun shade and cup holder accessories. The greatest thing about this stroller is that I can easily remove one seat and convert it into a single stroller. This will be great for our future child (who may not be a twin). People complain that the child in the lower seat can't see well. That hasn't been an issue so far. We rotate who gets to sit in the upper seat. There still is plenty of room for the lower child to look out, and it all depends on what they are used to.
We haven't had any issue with scratches on the chrome. One accessory that would be nice is a stroller case for traveling on airplanes.
We are counting on this being the only stroller we ever have to purchase. People spend equally as much on three or four cheaper strollers that tend to break after each child. The cost was justified in our opinion.
This is an absolute must have for twins.
