I have a disease that unfortunately is making me lose my hearing over time. I am now hard of hearing and had to rely on either blasting the TV(parents dont exactly like especially when commercials typically play louder than the programs) or using the subtitles that, unbeknownst to people, are incorrect half the time and results in my parents having to explain to me whats happening. Well i've decided I shouldn't have to deal with this nonsense till i'm completely deaf. So I bought this whatamajig along with a cheap pair of bluetooth over the ear headphones. I must say I very much am satisfied with this, since our tv is connected to its own surround sound system I am able to plug this into the tv itself and have my own volume to play around with. Only thing that seemed to bother me about this product is that the sound delays about 2 miliseconds, and so if my parents volume is too loud I hear an annoying echoing in my headphones. Other than that, I'm am grateful to be able to enjoy tv once again, until its time to give it up. Thanks iClever.

PROS:
1.) The price is right.
2.) The sound quality is excellent.
3.) Pairing and connecting works well.
4.) The range is great.
5.) There is very little latency (audio delay). Often times the audio is perfectly in sync when used with video devices.
6.) You can use the device when it is plugged into the charger.

CONS:
1.) The device has a proprietary connection for charging.* So you may need to purchase an Apple style USB charger separately.
2.) The audio cable should be coiled (like a telephone cable) so it can stretch out to be longer.

*If this device had a standard USB connection for charging, I would have given it 5 stars. (Don't lose the cable!)

My laptop is a nice PC, but the tiny speakers don't have much volume or clarity. I connected the IC-BTT01 Bluetooth transmitter to the headphone port, then paired it with a portable Bluetooth speaker I use with my tablet. Pairing was very quick, and the audio from the speaker was far superior to the laptop's sound. Granted, I could have hard-wired the speaker, but a wireless connection gave a lot more freedom to move the speaker, and it avoided having another cable cluttering up my desktop.

I also used the transmitter with an old Radio Shack portable radio that I keep next to my PC for listening to news and sports. I inserted the transmitter cable into the radio's headphone port, then paired the transmitter with the Bluetooth speaker. Again, pairing was very quick, and in a few seconds, I was listening to much better quality audio than with the radio's speakers.

A USB charging cable is included with the transmitter. Don't lose the cable, since it has a proprietary plug that plugs into a small port on the side of the transmitter. The transmitter can be recharged from a USB port of a computer or plugged into an AC charger.

My verdict: This is a really handy little gadget with a number of uses both inside and outside the home. If you have an audio device that lacks Bluetooth capability, just connect the IC-BTT01 Bluetooth transmitter to the headphone port and pump the audio into a Bluetooth speaker for better sound and more portability.

I want to give this a five star rating, but in all honesty, I am thrilled that this little guy gives me Bluetooth cabability with any device which has a 3.5mm stereo audio output. I went around my place with different devices, and sure enough, it works flawlessly. However, and I must point this out, it appears that the tech person, or tech people from this company who respond to comments here, have stated that there is little or no latentsy, or at least noticable latentsy with this device, in TV or Movie Mode, and that is simply not true. If you had a few beers, you may not notice, but even if I had a few beers, I still noticed...lol

iClever Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Transmitter / B00FLKW0JI

This device is designed to hook into a music player (in the headphone jack) in order to transmit the music from the player to a headset/stereo/other-device-capable-of-receiving-via-bluetooth. This device is NOT to be confused with the iClever Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Receiver, which looks the same, but does the exact opposite (i.e., it receives signals rather than transmits).

This is great for MP3 players or portable CD players which don't have bluetooth capability. People in the backseat of the car can send with their MP3 player to the sound system, or if you want to use a portable bluetooth speaker without having to tether to an MP3 player or CP player, then this is what you want to use.

Pairing with this dongle is easy, but there's not a lot of input from the user -- you put the speaker into search mode and the dongle into send mode and they either find each other or they don't. I was able to pair this dongle with my HMDX JAM Plus Portable Speaker and with my Plantronics M165 Bluetooth Headset. I couldn't get the dongle to pair with my phone, which didn't surprise me (because the phone is a sender, and not a receiver).

A couple things to note here:

1. The device does have to be separately charged; it doesn't draw power through the auxiliary cable.
