I was hoping for better sound quality but these Earpollution Timbre didn't compare to the three other ear buds I have and at lesser prices. I did an informal test on some of the low end ear buds and found that my Coby CVE92 Isolation Stereo Earphones (~$6.00) were the best, another Coby CV E20 (~$7.00) almost as good, the JVC Gumy (~$9.00) less clear, and these Earpollution Timbre (~$20.00) the poorest. My comparison is from sampling through the same .mp3 play and only one model each so it lack any scientific credibility.

These are made as good or as poor as your average headset. They look little congos. If u like in-ear headphones u would like these, they sound great. I played a audio testing cd to hear different responses and the range was very good for highs and lows. Very good quality. I bought these as headset replacement for an apple product and they sound way better than those. I gave these to my brother who has a pair of skullcandy in ear headphones and he said that these have better bass response and about the same for mid and highs, however he said he will continue to use the skulls because they have a mic. These are my first in-ear headphones. I hate how in ear headphones feel- it feels like my head is sealed off. So I bought a pair of wireless Bluetooth stereo headphones and they are just what the doctor ordered.
