I setup my iFusion system yesterday in my office, and couldn't be more pleased. Rarely does a product get me this fired up! First off, the setup didn't require any instructions, even though they provide a simple quick start guide. Everything is exactly as you would expect, no surprises.

In less than 5 minutes I had this elegant device on my desk, paired with my iPhone 4S, and operational. I spend a lot of time on the phone in my office. Some people call me on my desk phone, others on my mobile. The mobile really isn't very comfortable for long conversations. Also, the sound quality (before iFusion) wasn't all that great. It seems to me that the iPhone works better (sound/less drops) when it's plugged in. So in comes my first call. I decide to take it on the speakerphone. Wow! Great quality, easy to adjust the volume, and the person on the other end had zero complaints. Next call, I pick-up the handset. Again, very comfortable, great cord range, and quality is awesome.

Today I had my phone docked and I clicked Siri, said "call ....". BINGO right through the speakerphone, "calling ...". Phone connects, everything is great. Now I start using Siri while the phone is docked, calendar, etc. all works great. The last test was Skype. I had an international call I had to make, so I opened Skype, clicked call, and like magic.... Voila! A great Skype call.
I realize that $180 might seem like a high price, but believe me, you'll feel like the iFusion pays for itself in just a few days. Zero remorse, and a great review on Amazon. Go get one, you won't regret it.

Having started a job in a company that does not provide office telephones (yes, it is the "new" business model), I was missing the convenience of having a speakerphone-to-handset capability that I enjoyed in my previous job. Also, the idea of pressing a cell phone against my head for extended conversations did not appeal to me (comfort, EM exposure, etc.). Having just received the black iFusion, I was impressed in the high quality of the materials and the clever cording chamber in the back that hides all the connections, so it doesn't look like a rat's nest (neatness is sorta important to me :P).

Unlike other iPhone speakerphone/docking stations, there are no multiple docking maneuvers needed. Just bluetooth the phone and insert the phone into the receptacle and that is it. The bluetooth connection makes it a no-brainer. Has nice easy to read/use buttons on the bottom of the set for controlling the functions (bluetooth connection; mute; speakerphone; volume down, volume up). Sound from the speakerphone is more than adequate and does a decent job of playing my music (not hi-fi, but no speakerphone system is). Cord is a good length, stretchable to 6-7 feet. The unit is heavy, so it won't drag when you pull on the cord. Nice touches are some cushioning gaskets to cushion the iPhone-to-dock connection. Just noticed that the iphone dock connector is outwardly tiltable - so it is easy to maneuver the phone to connect to it. Loving the fact that when someone calls, I just pick up the handset and it automatically goes to it. Overall, having just started using the unit, I am very impressed and pleased.

While this unit is very nice and suits my needs when "answering" a call, it is less intuitive when placing a call.

Speakerphone mic pickup is worse than the built-in mic on my iPhone 4S or even my older 3GS. Mic pickup is terrible. No one can hear me. I sound very distant, hollow. The speaker is fine, just the mic pickup is a problem. Left myself a message on a friend's phone and built in mic on iPhone when in speakerphone mode sounds slightly better sitting same distance from me on my desk. In fact, I wonder if it just uses the iPhone built in mic.

I really want to like this unit, I am happy with everything but the speakerphone which I use a lot in lengthy conference calls. The handset sounds great, so it is not a Bluetooth problem.

It is sitting less than two feet from me on a flat wood desk with nothing between it and me. Quiet environment, home office.

I live on conference calls and definitely need a working speakerphone. If you need a good handset or are in a cubicle environment and can't use a speakerphone, this unit works well. However the speakerphone on my Jambox works better albeit not so professional looking and has no handset for non-speakphone calls.

First call I made to a working professional friend who also lives on conference calls quickly made up their mind to avoid this item. If only the speakerphone mic worked.

Latest version of Skype app makes it very difficult to use Bluetooth devices. This isn't an iFusion problem, but I was hoping to use it with Skype and currently that is not an option.

EDIT - to add, I just noticed they are claiming iPhone 5 compatibility here in May 2012. That phone hasn't been announced yet and so many times I have been bitten by changes in the 30 pin Apple dock variations that prevented a newer Apple product from working in an existing 3rd party device.
