I've used iGolf gps for a couple of seasons now and it's a nicely written piece of software. I now run it on a Palm Centro pda-phone, but used to run it on a Palm Tungsten T. The software is simple to install, set up and use. Their customer support is excellent. If you are looking to cut down on the number of items you need to pack for a trip to the course, you should consider a smartphone and this software. Using a small, bluetooth gps reciever and my Centro, it's almost like not carrying anything. And, when using my push cart, everything fits neatly in the storage compartment. This is a great solution (and a very cool one at that) for techies and non-techies alike.

I was a little disappointed with this product. Partly because my phone was listed as a compatable phone, but then I needed a separate GPS reciever. After all of that I needed to contact the company and get a patch to get the program to work. After all of that I could have gotten an entry level golf GPS unit. The data from the web site is accurate and is easy to laod. For the most part all you get is data to front and back of the green from the front of the green, but that is enough for me, but the sky caddie with the intelligreen system is much better.
