These weights have a very soft fabric and do not chafe as some cheaper brands do. They have an extra long strap that can fit any wrist or ankle easily. The strap has a good length of velcro, so they can latch up when storing them away. The strap is in the center so it can be used equally by right-handers or left-handers and interchangeably on either wrist or ankle. The fabric is smooth and does not cause any garments "ride up" under use.
Just in case you are unaware, these weights are sold as 5 pounds per PAIR, not 5 pounds each. The description is a little lacking there. I think that it should say, "iGym 5-Pound Total Ankle and Wrist Weights". I weighed my set on an electronic scale and they totaled 5.5 pounds per set. To be fair, my scale rounds to the nearest 0.5 pound, so they could be from 5.3 to 5.7 pounds per set. All in all, this is a very good set and a very good bargain for this quality.
