Wireless Body Analysis Scale

Don't be fooled by its cool design - the iHealth Wireless Body Analysis Scale is a workhorse. Measure, track, and share nine different characteristics of your body composition using the free iHealth mobile app. You can use it online or off. And the Wireless Body Analysis scale supports up to 20 users, so go ahead, compare your muscle mass with the whole family.

How It Works

iHealth Wireless Body Analysis uses four electronic sensors, as well as a set of proprietary algorithms to measure body composition. By standing still on these sensors with bare feet, the scale can accurately measure nine different body components. Data is displayed on the scale, and automatically sent wirelessly to the iHealth MyVitals app, which has personalized health tools to help you get the most out of your data and to better manage your health goal. The iHealth Wireless Body Analysis Scale measures body weight, body fat, lean mass, muscle mass, bone mass, body water, daily calorie intake (DCI), and visceral fat rating. The iHealth Wireless Body Analysis Scale is a FDA and CE approved device. It meets the rigorous accuracy standards set by the governing bodies in the USA and Europe.

iHealth MyVitals App Lets You Do More

The free integrated MyVitals mobile app brings all iHealth products to life. Once you've downloaded it from the App Store, you can customize it for the products you use. iHealth makes it easy to set goals, track your progress, and get inspired to manage your personal health in a more hands-on way, wherever you go.

Keep It In The Cloud

The iHealth app comes with an online cloud service, where all of your data is backed up and stored securely. Log in to the app from any device and access everything, regardless of where you first recorded it. Weight, blood pressure, diet, physical activities - they're all aspects of your personal health and they're all interconnected, so iHealth decided its mobile app should follow suit. No matter which products you're using, you can share results instantly to friends, family, even your doctor. The app also lets you track multiple users across different devices.

About iHealth

iHealth designs innovative, mobile personal healthcare products for everyone. iHealth's line of wireless scales and blood pressure monitors has been revolutionary in the industry and continue to push the boundaries of what's possible. Self-monitoring is not a new concept in healthcare. There are great products on the market that help people measure weight, blood pressure, and other vital stats. The challenge with many of these products is that user data lives in the device only, and can't be easily visualized, tracked, or shared. iHealth's integration with mobile technology has captured the imagination of its users, who can now measure, track, and share their data, and play a more active role in managing their health.

After reading the comments it appeared the biggest objection was the wireless connectivity. I usually over look that because I'm an IT/ Network admin by profession. So I got it today and tried setting it up. Blutooth connected fine, but the app was unable to find it via wifi. After a lot of troubleshooting, I saw that it had connected to the same wifi my iPhone 6 was on, but it couldn't communicate, strange. This is a Cisco business class wifi with over twenty devices on it and all those work fine, this iHealth is the exception. I then reset and connected my iPhone to a consumer Netgear wifi router and did the same with the scale, presto, everything works perfectly.

So, if you have a wifi issue with this device, it could be some kind of incompatibility with your wifi system. It would be possible to figure it out using Wireshark, but I don't want spend a lot of time on it since it works with my Netgear. Also, some people complained that they couldn't reconnect the blutooth after initial, setup, that's by design. Blutooth is only used for initial configuration to get it on wifi, then it is disabled.

All in all, works great. The data carries directly into my Apple HealthKit and I can maintain my history from there. The scale seems consistent within 1 lb. of multiple weigh ins and the BMI seems accurate, it basically said I am obese, sadly, that would be true. Would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the odd wifi compatibility problem.

I purchased this product brought it home and was eager to begin tracking my progress. Unfortunately, the device does not connect with my iPhone 5. I've read reviews that people have to flip the scale, open the battery cover, tap the reset button, and then it would connect, but I'm not gonna do that everytime I want to weigh myself. All in all, it looks pretty, but if you have an iPhone 5, then its nothing more than a glorified weight scale. Save the money. I'll be returning mine tonight.

I tried the Withings ws-50 and sent it back, poor connectivity and peripherals didn't work at all... So I bought the HS5 and it works like a dream. Easy set up, connects every time and the app works great. I highly recommend this product.

My wife bought this for me with the goal of me being able to synch up my weight with my Iphone app....two things that are wrong with this POS device.
1. It won't hold a Bluetooth connection...I continually have to "search for device" and connect
2. It doesn't give correct weights. Just this morning I weighed 4 different times in 4 different locations in the bathroom on a perfectly flat floor. I got four different weights with a 10 pound range...

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. I wish I could give it negative stars

I really liked the idea of being able to record data from my clients remotely, rather than having to write all the various results on the client's sheet and a copy on the master record sheet.
It took me 2hrs to get it to connect to the iPad. When I eventually got it connected (the instructions need a little work) and tried it out, I got three slightly different weight readings in the same place on the floor. I got no Body Fat reading at all.

I then got my wife to try it out - once. Gave her weight but no Body Fat reading or any other reading apart from the BMI which is just a standard `look-up' using the age, height & weight information.

I immediately used my 4yr old Tanita InnerScan Segmental Body Composition Scales. Same weight recorded but full Body Fat result produced, together with my Muscle Mass, Hydration, Bone information etc. etc.

These are going back - not suitable, not reliable.

After a successfully resolved connectivity issue, this scale has proven easy to use - and has played an important part in helping me lose 6 Kg's in 8 weeks by tracking my weight, and using in association with an I-Health activity tracker plus a couple of ( free ) app's that keep me honest about calorie intake and actual activity.

I step on the scales every morning, and they upload my stats to the cloud meaning I can track progress on my I-phone or PC

I use My Fitness Pal to track food intake and set daily calorie goals which are matched to my goal weight, and runkeeper to log my walking.

Let's face it, the cost of improving your health is cheap...

Works well but doesn't always connect to ipad app. Some work needed to get it to reliably connect. Otherwise ok.

I purchased this product online through Amazon. The first one that came was dead on arrival. Tried multiple sets of batteries, dead. Called and left message for customer service at IHealth. Heard back a week later. Paid 1/2 the price of the scale to ship dead scale back. Two months later received a replacement. It is completely dead as well

Do NOT DO business with this IHealth or their product.
