After using this alarm for two weeks I really like it.
Pros: It has two alarms that can be set for either 5 days a week or 7 days and be set for Zune, radio or beep.
-The speakers sound really good for a smallish clock. Not enough power for a party but plenty loud enough for a bedroom.
-Good base/treble/3d effect controls.
- Large easy to read display that had lots of brightness settings from Nightlite bright down to basicaly off.
- Easy to hit snooz button that you can adjust the length of snooze.
- It comes with adapters for all of the Zune models ( I am using it with a HD) The Zune fits snugly and makes a good connection all of the time.
-The Sleep function slowly lowers the volume as shutdown aproaches.
Cons: No remote control.
-The Zune HD has locked up twice after inserting into the base

After owning the IHome ZN9 for over a year and being completely happy with it I wanted to get another. Since that model is no longer in production I went with the ZN90. There aren't many options for Zune alarm clock/docking stations out there, but luckily this one does the trick.

As a alarm clock, this product works as advertised. The eight different brightness settings are nice, especially since I like to have the display off and the room as dark as possible when going to sleep. Additionally the alarm is nice since it gradually increases in volume until you turn it off or snooze it, as opposed to instantly blaring in your ear when you wake up.

As a docking station/music player it does a good job as well. I use the ZN90 at work in my cubicle to listen to podcasts and music. It is not something I'd use to play music in a party setting, there are other products for that, but it can definitely fill a room with sound. The AM/FM antennas work well and I can pick up the local stations no problem, which is great if I want to listen to a baseball game at work.

Overall I would definitely recommend this product.

I received this Dock as a gift about a month ago, and have used it about every day since. It was very easy to set up and get working, and took about ten minutes to plug in and set the clock, date, and radio presets. I have been using my ZuneHD with it, with no problems thus far.

Pros:
-Good sound quality, nothing major but good for your nightstand.
-Has two Alarms that can be set to beep, Radio, or Zune.
-Alarm starts out quiet and gets louder until you turn it off.
-Has adjustable Sleep function that lets you set it to turn off music after a set amount of time.
-Has six radio presets
-Eight brightness settings that range from bright to basically off.
-Charges Zune
-Displays Date and Time.

Cons:
-No remote included or available. You have to skip or change songs on the Zune. (It does have Pause/Play button)
-There are three buttons for the six radio presets.(two per button)
-Zune feels a little loose when in the cradle.

I gave it a four only because I would love for it to have a remote or even have to option to buy one. The fact that it doesn't have one could be considered a fatal flaw. But overall, if a remote is not important, then this is a definite buy.

The sound Is great for its size. It fills my kitchen and living room with good sound and doesn't distort until its really really cranked. I think a remote is the only feature this device is missing. The reason I rated it so low was the feel of the volume and tuning wheel. They feels realy cheap and I fear they will break easy. Aside from those drawbacks this is a great little device. Its not a Bose sound system, but it totally blows cheap advices of similar size out the water.

This is a real nice product. The sound that it produces for its size is very good.
When you get this product, start by setting the bass at +4 and trebble at +1, then adjust to you own liking.


I am not going to repeat all of the other comments. This product is worth the price.

I love this alarm. The sound quality is perfect for use in my apartment. I love being able to wake up and/or go to sleep to any song I choose. The radio works well and the buzzer doesn't franticly shock you out of bed. The gradual volume is a great feature in an alarm. I also like the the 5, 2 and 7 day alarm options. The only cons I have are that there is no remote and on occasion I will wake up to it showing that its January 1, 2008 and 9:00pm, which is potentially problematic when I need to get up before then. Other than that I am very happy with my clock radio speakers.

I wanted a clock radio that would integrate my Zune HD, sound good, wake me up, and put me to sleep. The ZN90 does all of it better than expected. The sound is really nice for a bedroom. 80% of the time I listen to it at low volume while going to sleep or waking up; the rest of the time, when I listen to music at normal volumes it has excellent sound quality with a decent base range.

The clock has two alarms, an adjustable sleep function with it's own volume level, and radio presets. Everything adjusts with spinning dials which are quick and intuative. On the highest brightness level the clock acts as a night light if you're scared of the boogie man otherwise I keep mine on the next to lowest brightness. Also if you keep hitting snooze it will eventually switch from music to beeping.

The Zune fits well and always functions in the dock. Other than play, pause, and volume you have to make all of your music selections on the Zune.

This product is great for the Zune. I just recently had bought my Zune and needed a new alarm clock as well so I opted for this. I have not yet been late for work and truly enjoy never having to charge my Zune. Generally I set the song I want to wake up to and listen to the rest of the album as I get ready, when ready I take the Zune out of the dock and straight into my pocket no problems whatsoever. Zune's and Zune products seem to be becoming more and more scarce lately, as a result, I truly recommend this product to anyone who has any type of Zune- to this docking station. The sound quality is enough to be satisfactory. The only inconvenience to this product is probably the lack of a remote but I'm not too lazy so I just deal with it.

I think the main problem with all the reviews stating "sound quality isn't great" or something sounding like this, is when people buy this system, they are expecting the little Bose system that sounds like a major system. NOTE TO BUYERS: this is not that system. It is OUTSTANDING for a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom or any other small room in a house that doesn't require a surround sound or mini system. Sound quality is excellent until set up in a larger room; the base is lost in a larger space. I have a zune 80gb and it works perfectly. Comes with multiple base locks (basically this means that you can swap out "click-in" holders for the size of your zune to sit in the base properly) and it sits well. Alarm is great. Really nice waking up to either my zune or the radio. Also comes with a buzzer. EQ works well and the 3D soundscape function is very cool for added sound to fill the room. Highly recommend this product. Will update if anything breaks or stops working and how the fix went.

It is hard to find something not ipod but Zune. This clock radio has a good sound for my small room. Works great!
