Either they do not close or the zipper separates after you have zipped it closed.

I really love this case. I take it with me every time I travel. Here is what I usually put in it (without cramming):

laptop + cable
ipad + cable
phone + cable
assorted chargers and cables (nike+ band, camera, etc)
pens
tissues
assorted sundries (medications, chapstick, et al)
large wallet

I can also fit pretty easily--though a bit of careful arrangement and zipping is required--:
a book or two
snacks
the required "3-1-1" liquids bag for checkpoints
a scarf
small items picked up while traveling.

I also clip my headphones (in a case with a carabeener) onto the outside. Something about assembling one's luggage together in a Voltron-like fashion gives one leeway with the "two carry on" rule.

This case has held up pretty well. The biggest con I would say are the ZIPPERS. They are not the strongest and sometimes have come uncaught. Fortunately, a few zips back and forth usually makes the teeth right again.
This does not happen if the case is properly filled and not bursting at the seams like I do.

Cool features:

-Handles to carry
-Strap to wear
-Back panel to slip over the pull handles of your rolling suitcase
-Individual pockets for all your devices
-Individual pockets (within a larger protective pocket) for your chargers. Keeps them perfectly tangle free!
-Laptop pocket zips open completely. Some checkpoints allow you to pass your bag through the xray like this (open like a book with the laptop in its own compartment) as long as nothing else is in the pocket with the laptop.

I know this sounds like something from /r/hailcorporate, but I truly love this case. I do wish it was a bit sturdier for long-term use. But other than that, it's great.

This case has lots of compartments which fit the computer, plugs, Ipad and accessories very well. The soft material inside the case is excellent. The quick TSA friendly flexibility is excellent. And if not for the quality of the zippers, I would rate this case 4 or maybe even 5 stars.

But the quality of the zippers make this case unsuitable for its intended purpose. They do not track well and get stuck when trying to zip up the case. What makes it worse is that the zippers will actually split open when they are zipped up. I have been living with this for about 6 months, but today was the last straw, as I was walking back from a class that I teach, and the laptop fell out of the bag as the zipper, while zipped up, split apart. The laptop fell almost 3 feet, but amazingly did not break (thanks Apple -- the laptop is a 15" Mac Book Pro Retina). I cannot take the chance of that happening again so I will retire this case in favor of an older case that I used to use. It is a shame, since I really like everything else about this case, and would much rather keep using it, but I got lucky this time, and am not the type to press my luck.

I am a weekly traveler, so I was excited to try this computer bag. The overall design (compartments) is great, though a bit snug. And, I would have rated the bag 4- or 5-star, except for a major flaw in quality. If you fill the bag, which is easy to do, the zippers will malfunction. Either they do not close or the zipper separates after you have zipped it closed. I have owned many computer bags over the year (Swiss Gear, Samsonite, etc.) and the zippers on this computer bag is the worst quality of them all.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
This is a high-quality bag with an almost unbelievable number of nooks and crannies. After opening countless zippers, I realized I hadn't even unearthed the handles yet. Especially nice are the faux fur lined compartments to resist scratching of your devices' screens, and the fact that there are separate compartments for a notebook, tablet, phone, chargers, and more.

I wanted to love it, but I can't muster up more than a "pretty good". There are a couple of ways to look at this thing and rate it. Perhaps I can help you approach it appropriately... the main thing to understand before purchasing this bag is that the designers tried to squeeze as much as they could into while maintaining a compact size - which is good, but also means that any "extras" are going to be tough to fit in. Case in point: the separate pockets for the various chargers is great, but if you want to pack the full Apple power cord, which is kind of bulky, it's never going to fit in there and will have to be separated and put into the generic compartment. If I'm going to be doing heavy duty work, I like to pack a mouse, which I still find much more comfortable that the touch pad. Stuffing a mouse into this bag is possible, but it's not made for it. So, if you can travel light, in the Steve Jobs minimalistic kind of way, you'll love this bag. If you like stuffing in extra goodies, you might find this bag too confining.

PROS:
Lots of separate fur-lined compartments.
Well built
Attractive and professional

CONS:
Compactness over flexibility - you'll have a hard time stuffing any bulky extra goodies in there.
The shoulder strap is fine, but I usually prefer the handles and the handles do not join together and make for a comfortable fit.
