Ipod RADIO,
This review is from: iLive Executive Speaker with Dock for iPod and MP3 Players (Electronics)
I was very happy with this radio. I looked at alot of different ones for a Christmas gift for my daughter. This one has excellent sound quality and I really like how the Ipod sits in the radio rather than on top. I was afraid you could knock the Ipod off when the alarm goes off if it was on top of the radio.

I bought this for my daughter for Xmas. By Spring Break it was no longer working. The controls were difficult to begin with but workable once we figured it out. However turning the alarm on and off never worked that great. Eventually we couldn't turn it on and off and the am/fm radio stopped working. The dial was always dim and never really bright. Overall I'm very disappointed with this system.

This speaker/dock has nice sound and is easy to learn how to use. It's a nice size and weight and looks nice. But ... about 2.5 months after I bought it, it started to wear out: it seems to overheat. I can't switch modes after it's been playing for a few minutes (i just hear static instead of the radio, for instance), the alarm clock won't set, etc. Too bad, because otherwise I like it. Be warned to act quickly: it's got a 90-day warranty.

I was disappointed in this item because when I put my ipod in it the player scrambled the order of my songs. In addition to the order mix up I recall when I plugged it in there static in the speakers and the music was not as clear as it could have been.

I bought this model in March. By April, the display was unreadable, then the whole thing quit working. I sent it back to the company and they replaced it. After one month, the same thing happened. I sent that one back and it quit working after 30 days. This model is a piece of JUNK... I have purchased 1 and gotten 2 replacements and none has worked longer than 30 days.

Very Disappointed,

I bought this item only five months ago, and the display is basically unreadable. During the day, it's completely blank; in low light, if you get the angle JUST RIGHT, you can almost make out the numbers. As a docking station, it works fine. And I really loved the idea of having a remote, which worked very well for the first three months or so, then (even with a new battery) only SOME of the buttons work. For example, the ON/OFF button on the remote works if I want to turn the unit OFF, but it no longer works to turn it ON. Overall, very disappointed with the product and would NOT recommend it to anyone.

I bought this clock radio in March 2009. By July 2009, the time display became increasing harder to read - not all the digital bars that made up the numbers would shine through equally. Here I am at the end of August 2009, with no time display. The machine won't power on when I press the power button. I unplugged and plugged it again before bed. It looked and behaved fine, but by morning, the machine was kaput again. Definitely not worth paying nearly $50 for. I've had $10 cheapie alarm clocks that lasted longer. I bought this because I wanted an iPod player as well as an alarm for my night table but this is an appalling disappointment. I can't believe companies sell poor products like this and get away with it.

We bought this one on December '08. Within two months it stopped playing anything. The iPOD does charge, but nothing else works: clock, radio, iPOD player. We returned it to the manufacturer within the 90 days of the guarantee and received a new one fairly quickly. Unfortunately, the new one only lasted three weeks.
