I bought one of these off of Ebay several weeks ago. It seemed to work ok. When I brought it in to my office the right channel went out. Well I monkeyed around and now it works good. The sound of the IPOD is pretty good for the price. The problem with the unit is the CD, it skips all of the time. Even if you put in a new CD. The AUX input is great to pipe in you PC sound or other sources. I liked this enough that I bought another one off of Ebay and the CD player skips as well. I hit the unit many times and now the CD's seem to work for now. I recommend this product for the sound, the AUX input and sub output. The CD is not high quality, CD decks have been around for quite some time now and GPX needs to find a better CD player for this unit. I will probably buy a portable CD and use the AUX input. I paid 40 bucks for the first and 16.50 for the second. The price is very attractive when compared to other units that offer a lot less options. So overall I recommend this product for those who want a lot of options at a good price.

Purchased two of these systems for a 12 year old and a 15 year old. They both love it. Aside from the quality sound they get from it, my 15 year old nephew loves that the alarm gradually gets louder and louder if you don't get up the first time. My 12 year old neice likes being able to charge her Ipod on it.

I purchased this item as a gift for my boyfriend for Christmas it works great has a great sound there is an option to have the alarm sound on the ipod/radio/cd player/or buzzer the radio reception is perfect and it charges your ipod while it on the cradle the clock is illuminated so u can see the time I would recomend this product to anyone in the market for an ipod player/charger it was a great buy at a really reasonable price!!!!

I absolutely love this! It's exactly what I was looking for: An ipod dock, CD player, radio, and alarm clock. It has wonderful sound quality for the price and has an attractive design.

Only thing I failed to take into account was it has no battery power, thus, it is "not" portable.. Oh Well....

I purchased this item from Amazon (yes, with free shipping to Hawaii! =^_^=) and its awesome. Its set up in my bedroom and it works great. The sound system could use more base, but hey for $55, this is a great CD player, iPod dock, Alarm clock, radio, I use it with my iPhone with an AUX jack, and play my iTunes remotely. It also comes with a fully functional remote. This has a lot of features for being compact.

UPDATE: I JUST TRIED THE AUX JACK AND ITS TERRIBLE, THERE IS BARELY ANY SOUND COMING OUT OF THE SYSTEM. THIS ITEM IS BEING RETURNED FOR A REFUND. CAN'T UPDATE STARS GIVEN!

After reading the mixed reviews, I decided to take a risk and purchase this unit. I agree that it has great sound quality, and has a nice look. I purchased one for my office; it's compact and a great fit. CD and radio work fine. However, the iPod function doesn't work, which was one of the main reason I selected the system. It charges it, and I can control the iPod - I simply cannot hear it. So for the price paid, I guess I should have expected problems. I have to send it back to the manufacturer (postage NOT paid) and the will send me another unit (postage paid). It's a great item in the event that yours comes in full working order. I'll let you know what happens the second time around.

We received the unit and it did not work. No sound and the remote did not work. We sent it back at our expense and waited a week for them to send us another. It works fine but they will not reimburse us for shipping the bad unit back to them. We ended up paying shipping twice just to get a unit that works. INTERESTING CUSTOMER SERVICE!

this is great and works well with my iPod touch and plays the music well. i would recommend this to anyone because i can still play my cd's as well...

This is the BEST Ipod Docking Station.....the sound that comes out of it sounds like it is coming out of the best stero system that money could buy.
