Play CD+G Discs
The IJ309B's top-load CD player will play CD+G discs, which often are used to create Karaoke discs with accompanying lyrics/graphics. It also will handle CD and CD-R/RW discs. Finally, it has an onboard AM/FM radio if you'd prefer to let someone else make the choices.

Docking Station for iPod
Included is a certified iPod connector for docking various iPod models. While it's docked, your iPod receives a charge, so you'll be ready to go when you detach it. You also can control connected iPod players using the device or remote.

Karaoke Features
The IJ309B features two 6.3-mm microphone jacks. One mic is included; attach another (not included) to perform duets with a friend. Use the Echo and Balance controls, along with one for mic volume, to get a good sound going.

Input/Output
Use the auxiliary input jack for use with external devices, and the RCA A/V output jacks to hook up to a television or stereo or both.

Remote Control
Control the IJ309B's functions with the included remote control, along with your docked iPod.

This karaoke unit is wonderful, especially for my kids.

The unit has great sound and integrates great with our existing sterio system. It has played every CD I have thrown at it with music on it. I am sure it is incompatible with some cheap brands, but I only use Sony, HP and Memorex. It also works incredibly well with my IPOD.

I have been using the unit for about a year now and my kids are on it daily. It has been an entertainment godsend. Thanks ILive!!

This karaoke unit is mediocre, but its customer service is terrible. I purchased this iLive product for my wife for Christmas. The CD player was broken - whenever we tried to play a CD+G it would just skip and give me an error message. It took me forever to get a response from their customer service - they just don't answer their phones or respond to messages. I finally got someone to reply over email, and they instructed me to send it in for an exchange. I did so, and weeks went by with no input from iLive. No responses to email, no answering of phones. I finally did get a replacement, and it has the exact same problem with the CD player. So far iLive has been ignoring my email requests for an explanation or what to do next. I think my plan is: avoid iLive in the future and make my next purchase from a company with better products and better customer service.

This unit plays great cds, has a nice radio and even charges my ipod. However, as a karoke unit this thing sucks! The microphone volume is at best terrible and non-functioning. For $100 don't waste your money if you are looking for a karoke unit.
