1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy a used one
In an attempt to save some money, I bought this item used. When it arrived, it was poorly packaged and the unit was totally inoperable. The software CD that came with it was in such poor condition that the unit refused to accept it.
I contacted the vendor about returning it, and was told that, since it was used I couldn't return it.

A new I-load costs about $300, I paid $75 for this unit which turned out to be worthless. I tried repeatedly to make it work, but it simply refused.
I contacted I-load directly to ask if I could get it repaired or at least get a new CD for it. I was told that since I got it used, they wouldn't help at all.
If your looking for this type of unit DO NOT buy it used. Go directly to I-load website and order a new one.

1.0 out of 5 stars iLoad limitations, September 13, 2008
This review is from: iLoad: Transfer CDs and Video to your iPod without using a computer (Electronics)
iLoad may work without a computer for certain Apple devices; but, it is full of problems. If you have a non-apple Mp3 or Mp4 device it is not for you. iLoad also is not for you,if you wish to load cassette or LPs to a Mp3. The customer support is poor. They will promise to call you, then they don't! In many cases when you try to introduce yout player to iLoad you will get an "iPod not found" message. When this happens YOU MUST have a computer to go further in trying to resolve your problems! You probably will not resolve them. DON'T BUY THIS DEVICE!!!
