Just out of package fell apart
on June 12, 2011
I was very happy to get my awesome new pink headphones and so as soon as they arrived I checked them out.
No sooner did I try them in my ears did I realize these were not what I had hoped for. The first thing I noticed is while the sound was probably good, the large base of the bud prevented them from fully going in the ear. They had a nice design and could see that the idea was a nice fit, but the part to actually go in the ear was to shallow. I think the sound would have been fine, if I could have got them to go in my ear far enough to block out any other normal sounds.
In the next thought I figured if I tried the smaller rubber ear part,(even though I don't think it would make it go in my ear any further)but as soon as I took it out of my ear and looked at it (not even trying to take the rubber part off yet) the ear piece popped apart. Of course my first thought was oh crap, these are super cheap, and thought well if they pop together maybe I could reinforce them some how so I could still use them, but after looking at them further, I see that they are so cheaply made that the effort to repair them is not worth it and probably will not work or hold anyway.
I would not buy these ever, ever, ever again. They remind me of the super cheap toys you might get out of a gum ball machine or the cheap toy section at a swap meat. I have never written a poor review on any product before, I can usually find something good about most things, but the only thing good about these is well, ummm...they had an awsome clamp on the cord that would have been nice for jogging if it wasn't closer to the plug rather than the ear parts and not so cheaply made that I don't think would last more than a couple of runs at best.
