You don't typically find quality children's media, especially not free, but this is excellent. As mentioned by a previous satisfied reviewer, the stories are perfect for bedtime, car trips.. and navigable for my three year old to use independently. Features the ability to be read to, as well as flipping through pages manually or watching in "movie mode." I also agree with a past review lamenting the lack of a follow along or highlight on the text as the words are read, but it is alright without it nonetheless. The stories are engaging and familiar favorites are available as well as cultural stories from far away places and some titles are available in both English and Spanish. Thanks for providing a quality children's reading app!

Excellent app, and I would reinstall if it would download and save the books to the sd card instead of internal storage. As it is, the sheer size of the app with only 3 books downloaded so far is just too immense.

UPDATED REVIEW: The app has been updated to allow app to sd, which is wonderful. There are several books available in English and Spanish. You have to go through the process of downloading each book you'd like your child to have to your device. My daughter loves the books included in this app, and there are a broad range of topics.

My four year old loves it. I just wish the words being read were a little larger font size and highlighted so the kids could see the words being read and follow along. The stories are great and just about everytime we log in with WiFi we get new books. They are just the right length for bed time stories, and help keep him occupied during those times there isn't anything else for him to do

I had lots of free books downloaded then one day some of the books were deleted and if I want them again I have to purchase it. ridiculous after I already had them for it to be taken away to then pay for it. disappointed and think its dumb for amazon to do this

she loves answering. the narrator, "It's Mimi and Jasey!!". I'm finding out new subjects that interest her and we have fun discussing the stories afterwards. She'll often "read" me the books on subsequent visits, or retelling the story to mom or dad in her own words. I would have been happy to pay for this app.

I would give this app 5 stars if it worked when not connected to the Internet. The free books are good, and the paid books are good too. But, if you want to let your child use it when visiting friends or family it crashes when you try and start until you establish a wifi connection.

For at home it is very nice. My son like the auto read feature and I like that I don't have to read the same book 12 times a day. :^)

Still it is important to personally read, so I do like reading the new books first so my son can ask questions and point out the things he likes in the pictures.

I liked the variety, but I've tried this for a month and there were so many books in the bundle that my 4 year old couldn't read without a purchase. I understand having some books cost and some free in the bundle but I think there were more than half you have to pay for and explaining this to a 4 year old is difficult so I deleted it and downloaded "The Snake Deity" "Repunzel" "Hansel and Gretel" and some free books from the Kindle Store.
