I've been waiting for quite a while to order and read this book. Since using iMovie (and iDVD) weekly, I have read just about everything on the market...most of it seems to be a copy from the Apple site. This book has information that I have found no where else. As soon as I picked it up I looked up a few areas in iMovie that I have been having trouble with and the answers were all there.
Most books just document the features, this one is written by someone who actually uses the program on a daily basis and has quite a few "behind the scenes" features. They also give you an insight on what is going on in the computer when you import and edit audio and video - very useful.
This is a must-read for anyone who uses iMovie to edit and create video.

This book has been an excellent resource. I recommend it to anyone. It is clear, straight forward, organized and gets right to what you need to know. I have since bought other books by this same "Portable Genius" series due to my excellent experience with this book. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Not bad, but not as good as The Missing Manual. If you can only get one, get the other. Not bad. Just ... um ... 'ehhh."
