Product Description

The iOgrapher will change the way you think about shooting. Filmmakers, educators, students, and casual users are discovering how iOgrapher turns your iPad into a superior movie shooting machine. The first all purpose filmmaking case for the iPad, iOgrapher has everything needed for a professional shoot. Made from high grade polycarbonate/ABS blend, the iOgrapher is extremely tough and durable, and can stand up to any shooting environment. Filmmakers will appreciate the ability to add 37mm lenses to a convenient threaded lens mount for wide angles, fisheye looks and macros for extreme close ups. In addition, three accessory mounts along the top allow for easy attachment of lighting and audio gear. A rugged tripod mount supports any standard tripod, monopod or portable dolly, making continuous shooting a breeze. Casual users can now shoot like a pro. This easy, secure snap-on case makes shooting your child's sports game, birthday party, or family vacation a snap. The iOgrapher can help you confidently film the memories you want to capture -- no more jittery hands, dropped iPads, or fingers in front of the lens. See why Mashable says "The iOgrapher turns the iPad mini into a video shooting powerhouse!" ***The iOgrapher is the case only. All accessories are sold separately. ***

Take your photography and videography to the next level with the iOgrapher! I can't describe how functional and beneficial this device has been to my photography. I love how easy and affordable it is to interchange lenses and that the iOgrapher worked with my existing tripod stand. I would highly recommend this product.

I backed the Kickstarter project and I've had my iOgrapher in hand for a bit less than a week and I think it is great. Not perfect but pretty amazing. It holds the iPad mini firmly. I've had no issues with stability when using a tripod because the case is fairly light and so my little REI tripod has no problems holding it securely.
You DO have to use the 'Assistive Touch' feature to be able to lock the screen. Dave put a video up on Youtube.
I'll have to see how durable the 37mm threads are for attaching accessory lenses. I don't have any questions about the durability of the tripod mount--that looks very solid.
My smart magnetic cover doesn't work while the mini is in the holder.

It is so MUCH easier to take video when you can hold the iPad securely (and your fingers don't come anywhere close to covering the lens).

I love the Iographer! I am fortunate enough to be able to use it at school, it is extremely effective when I am using my Ipad to complete media projects for classes.

This even makes me want to shoot video on my iPad instead of pulling out a DSLR. Such a simple idea, yet very effective. I can hand hold with the handles, or mount it on a tripod or monopod. The most common way I've used it so far is on a monopod with an LED light, a wide angle lens and an MXL 310 shotgun mic, using either Filmic Pro or the built in camera app. Makes a great little interview setup. Also great as a second camera that you can hand to anyone and not worry about them knowing how to use it.
It's amazing the attention I get shooting with this. Quite the conversation starter. People are amazed at the simple setup and the ease of use shooting with such a large screen.

I tried another mount for the iPad Mini, but I'm even using it!

The iOgrapher is easy to use and love to travel with it.
Here is a video I shot in Seattle with most of it shot with the iOgrapher, but also my iPhone and point and shoot camera.
