I got this case about an hour ago. Very simple to install - did take some force to snap on but wasnt hard. The rotating functionality works GREAT ! I watched an entire Star Trek episode with it on my bed - it was exactly as advertized, can be rotated to any angle.

The problem however is getting it off. One corner snaps off fairly easily, but the other 3 don't budge at all. have had no luck. It is a hard case so slightly heavier/bulkier than others in the market - especially with the stand on attached.

Overall a strong/sturdy product, works as advertized, but would like to be able to take it off.

I spent a long time looking at iPad 2 cases and stands and read hundreds of reviews. My specs were:

- must support iPad firmly in both landscape and portrait orientations, at several viewing angles
- must protect iPad corners and screen if accidentally dropped
- lightweight and not too bulky
- not too slippery

Price was not an object for me -- I would have spent whatever it took, even $100 or more, to get the ideal case. In fact, I was suspicious of this one because it's so incredibly cheap.

This product met all my specs. The slightly rubberized material isn't slippery, but doesn't attract lint. It has four positions in both landscape and portrait orientation, from a low position good for typing to a high position good for reading news at the breakfast table. It won't slide when you're typing or swiping. The case fits the iPad tightly and protects all four corners, but leaves the port, speaker, and controls fully accessible. It's simple to detach the stand from the cover. It's light and not terribly bulky, though any good cover will add some bulk.

As others have noted, the case fits VERY tightly and can be a bit hard to get onto the iPad. My solution was to shave away a small amount of the lip (the small protrusion that holds the iPad in place) at two corners. Someone else recommended sanding, but I used a box cutter. I shaved a little bit, tested, shaved some more, tested again, until I could pop the case on.

My other tip is that even with shaving it's still hard to get on, and you may worry about bending the iPad. So: put two corners on, then place the iPad face down on a table (with a tablecloth). Hold it so that one of the remaining corners extends off the table an inch or so, then press that corner of the cover into place.

For the price that this is currently being sold for on Amazon, you would be hard pressed to find a better case that offers protection, 360 degreees viewing angles and the flexibility of a full case or back cover. However, as a number of reviewers have already pointed out, it was extremely difficult to get my iPad into the case and I have no idea how I will remove it if I ever had to - you can already see a number of stress points in the plastic where I was exerting pressure trying to snap the iPad into the case. I wish they had also included incorporated a small magnet to take advantage of the iPad 2's sleep/awak function. Finally, the stand is not as stable in portrait as landscape due to the absence of nubs when in potratit mode. That being said, this case is perfect for throwing in my backpack and using when travelling.

While I totally agree with everyone that mentions it's hard to get the iPad in the case, I must admit that it is by far the best case for quickly allowing multiple viewing angles. This is my third case that I've tried and it seems to be delivering on ease of use. Check out the quick release button on the back of the case too. Nicely done. The only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 is the lack of a magnetic latch that automatically turns on the iPad when you open the cover. Other than that, the price on Amazon and the functionality of the case make it a winner. By the way, other cases tried are Grove Made Bamboo and Marware, which I am keeping since it's nice black leather case.

This is an awesome case.. as everyone has said, for the price you really can't be wrong.. I bought it, knowing that it was difficult to take out the ipad, but decided to give it a try. So notice that it has a design flaw on the lips that keeps ipad in place, they are bigger that should be.

So the fix is:
Prior to insert the ipad, just get a thin sandpaper and sand the inside lips at the corners a bit, but just a little and try the ipad on 3 corners first, if it's still hard to take it out from the third corner, sand again, and once you do that you will notice that it will get inside fairly easy, and to take it off will be very easy also..

Hope this helps you.

This iPad 2 case offers a lot more viewing angles and flexibility than
using just a cover like the one from Apple. It's pretty convenient and has been working well so far when I travel. As the other reviewer
mentioned, the case does require just a bit of force to snap in but I think there was a way to do it easily with one side (side opposite of the volume control) sliding in first then snapping the other corners.
Once secured you don't have to worry about it falling out.
Overall a great case at an exceptional value when it's on sale.
