Product Description

The iPaperPad is not magical or revolutionary. It's a paper pad. This package contains three pads with 25 pages each. The pads are 7.47" x 9.56" and have a writable area of 5 3/4" x 7 1/2" on the face and provide the entire surface area on the back for additional notes. This three-pad pack was specifically designed so you could have one for yourself and share two with friends. The iPaperPad may be the same size as the Apple iPad but unlike the Apple iPad, these paper pads are 100% recyclable and compostable. They require no batteries, have virtually unlimited resolution, and their speed is controlled by you instead of a custom processor. The interface is so intuitive even a baby can use it! Be the envy of all your friends (except the ones you share the extra pads with) and buy an iPaperPad today! PLEASE NOTE: The iPaperPad is only fully functional with a writing instrument which must be purchased seperately. The iPaperPad is 100% compatible with any writing instrument designed for paper: pen, marker, crayon, etc.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent March 10, 2011
This is a great iPad alternative for a fraction of the cost. My one complaint is that there is still no flash support.

As we are all well aware, the advertised version of the iPad does not support multitasking or upgradable memory.

Upon receiving this package I opened it with trepidation. Surely something that is 3% of the cost of an iPad could not hope to compete?! Surely!

Well, I say to you all, that that statement is entirely untrue. Not only can the iPaperPad compete with an iPad, it exceeds the overall capabilities.

Firstly, you can multitask. Heck, you can even invite friends over and enjoy running multiple events at the same time on the iPaperPad. Further, NetMeme has worked out deals with every major and minor department store across the world. In any of these stores you can purchase memory upgrades for the iPaperPad at a cost of only a few dollars at most. Personally, I suggest buying some memory upgrades from Amazon at the same time as your purchase of the iPaperPad. Anecdotally, I have found the HP Memory Upgrade pack to have the best bang for your buck around: HP Office Quickpack Paper, 92 Brightness, 8.5 x 11 Inches, 2500 Sheets (11210-3). Finally, users are allowed to run whatever they want on the iPaperPad. No longer are you confined to censoring or strict control over what you see on your device (in fact, a younger nephew of mine created quite a naughty little app himself using nothing but some pencil crayons and a bit of glitter).

This is the version of the iPad Apple doesn't want you to know about. Forget limited devices, go with user customization and upgrade potential!

5.0 out of 5 stars awesome snarky meeting prop March 9, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase
I dont know about you but when the iPad media blizzard and cult of everything Apple happened around the iPad, all the apple heads at work would say things to me like "why are you such a wet blanket, iPad is amazing", and all I could think was "isnt this just a glorified notepad?" now I can have my apple snark and eat it too! How much fun is it to go into a meeting with this notepad.

Even if you are a apple lover (I really do like their products, just get a little overwhelmed by the hype) you will have fun being seen with this at work, great convo piece and useful too!

2.0 out of 5 stars Fun idea, but...
it really doesn't give the overall impression of an ipad.
-The size is larger.
-The print is not very dark. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Not the size of an iPad
These are a little bit larger than an actual iPad. We were going to wrap it in an iPad box but it was too big. Was a big hit anyway!

1.0 out of 5 stars Not so great
Was much bigger than an iPad even though was described to be the same size. The black around the edge was faded. Poor print quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than Apple's product. Love the non-proprietary accessories.
It does not mention it in the product specs, but this device may require the use of an optional stylus. However, unlike Apple; it's not a proprietary design! Read more
