The HP iPaq HW6515B Mobile Messenger is a global communications device giving you the best in connectivity and mobility, making it easy to stay productive while on the go. The iPaq offers such messaging options as text, picture, and instant messaging, while its integrated GPS navigation puts driving directions at your fingertips. The device also employs an industry-standard Exchange 2003 environment running Server ActiveSync, so you can synchronize your Outlook inbox, calendar, contacts, and tasks and then remotely check your appointments and other important information. The iPaq is even equipped with Bluetooth wireless technology, helping it interact with other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

Users will love the built-in HP Photosmart camera, which lets you take a picture and share it with colleagues and friends by sending it wirelessly to any e-mail address (no uploading to a website or adding a link). It's also possible to send messages with a combination of text, sounds, images, and video via the MMS messaging option (requires other MMS-compatible devices). The camera is no slouch from a clarity perspective, either, with a crisp 1.3-megapixel resolution that takes print-ready 4 x 6 photos. Add a 128 MB Secure Digital (SD) card and have the ability to store up to 600 photos or an hour of H.263 recorded video.

EDGE technology delivers real-time wireless access to critical business systems and applications, letting mobile professionals view spreadsheets, graphic presentations, and text documents on the GPRS/EDGE wireless network, with download speeds of up to 100 to 130 kbps. GPRS technology, on the other hand, offers broad access to worldwide Internet-based content and data services, while GSM technology handles high-quality mobile voice and data transfer, such as SMS (Short Messaging Service) and MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service). The combination of all three technologies makes the iPaq one of the most versatile handheld phones on the market.
