Great battery life.

It also has a speaker & microphone wireless connection to your PC so you can plug the remote into a headset or headphones; making voice control possible to boot!

When the device is on, the touch pad times out after a while and you have to press a key to get it to work again.

GET THE RIGHT MODEL
This is an updated model of the KP-810-10, it's the KP-810-10A. The OLD 810-10 has a cut off corner on the right side for EZ visual distinction; make sure you get the 810-10A. "A" with no cut off corner. There are a lot of middle men sellers for this unit giving it differing names that omit the model number making it easy to buy the wrong one, if you are still looking around.

** UPDATE 5-5-2012 UPDATE **
iPazzPort has been coming out with "upgrades" to this model on a regular basis. I have spoken to the guy at unisen-usa. the USA distributor for iPazzPort. He indicated that the manufacture "iPazzPort" is currently, continually, perfecting their models. iPazzPort has already released two newer models than this (priced higher) with the most valuable added features being an IR learning remote function, air mouse ability & a back side Media Center circular clustered button layout. The KP-810-18V allows you to clone & replace almost any other remote you have with it. It also has a speaker & microphone wireless connection to your PC so you can plug the remote into a headset or headphones; making voice control possible to boot!

WIRELESS DISTANCE REPORT - SELLER PERFORMANCE
I read a number of reviews where the units were not performing well as far as wireless distance and pairing problems. Mine goes 28 feet (I measured it) line of site & 10-15 feet through walls. I have not had to pair it at all; it just worked out of the box. (envelope in this case). Pre-Order, I e-mailed the manufacture about the distance problems; they indicated that older models do have a distance problem by replying, "new revisions don't have any problems with distance". (indicating the older revisions did & do).

This thing pretty sweet, it's about the size of an average smartphone, maybe a little longer. I got it for the wireless keyboard/touchpad functions to use with our media center PC. I guess I didn't read the description all the way through but it also has a laser pointer, great for tormenting the pets and the keys can be backlit with the touch of a button. The range is good and the thing charges off a simple USB cable. The only issue I've found is that it occasionally will get confused or something and stop responding, just flip it off and back on and it'll start working again. Still an awesome device and the price can't be beat.

Update 3 - Works with a new USB hub. It makes a difference if there is anything between the keyboard and its receiver, including your hands. The range is a little short, and it frequently output multiple characters, or non at all. I'm able to get along with it the way it is, but it's not as good as I thought it would be.

Update 2 - Doesn't work with powered DLink USB hub. Works with unpowered hub.

Update - iAnker customer service had a new unit sent to replace the 1st one purchased. That unit has the same problem as the previous one. It must not be compatible with the MK808, like my Microsoft wireless mouse is.

I purchased this mini keyboard to use with my MK808 mini computer, which is attached to my TV. This was to take the place of a Microsoft wireless mouse, which was working fine, and a non-existent keyboard.

Where shall I start? The 1st instructions were to "pair" the keyboard and RF receiver. No problem there.
The problems started when the cursor was stuck at the bottom of the screen and the touch pad would only move it left and right. Not very useful!!!

After multiple pairings I got the touch pad cursor to "work". I tried typing a web address and received a jumble of repeated and missing characters. You must check every character typed on the keyboard, because some are missing and others are repeated multiple times. The touch pad is still not working reliably and can not be depended on to function properly.

This product only adds more stress to my life. I will contact tech support at Anker, but I can't imagine that it's not going back to Amazon.

UPDATE: The problems seem to be distance related. I sat closer to the receiver and performance was better. Very disappointing that I can't set in my recliner (15 ft away) and use this device.

Feels a little flimsy but its not. The backlight is what is key here.

This thing will be just a tiny bit below what you were hoping would be the ultimate best. And for the price that's great. Its basically a remote that can take control and be your keyboard in a pinch.

I don't think it has programmable macros but once I learn to resize the screen better for my tv on the fly this will be even more useful.

The usb plug and play is just that, I take it from my computer downstairs to upstairs on the fly. Its great.

I docked one star because something has to compel me to give 5. This is just a great value play where you won't regret the purchase.

I purchased this keyboard to use with an Android TV box, a Raspberry Pi and various Windows and Linux PCs. All worked out of the box and very easy to set up, basically plug and play. Range is not so great though. In my experience, some keystrokes are going to miss or double register if used 6 feet away. Overall a good wireless keyboard.
