I've used my HTPC as my prime means of watching TV for a number of years. It's both a DVR for OTA antenna broadcasts (running Win 7 MC) and blurays / stored media my hard drive. Throughout the years I've tried a number of devices (Gyrotech Gyration Remote/Mouse, Logitech DiNovo, DiNovo Mini, Solidtek wireless keyboard with trackpad) for mouse/keyboard input and found that nothing can even remotely approach this comically named IPazzPort. The biggest gripe with wireless keyboards that I've always had was that their trackpads/trackballs always suck. Face it, with HTPC unless you are using Win Media Center exclusively you are going to be using mouse at some point and that's where most wireless keyboards (Logitech being the worst) let you down. After growing frustrated with N-th generation device from Solidek I figured I'd give IPazzPort a try. For the price, it'd be a crime not to. Today it has arrived and I'm nothing short of blown away. First of all, the trackpad is the best I've ever used short of my 17 Inch Macbook Pro. It's large, very precise and super responsive. It's multitouch so all the clicking (tap), and scrolling gestures work the way you expect them to. The device itself is probably the lightest gadget I've used in the past 10 years, it weights a few ounces at most. The keyboard is surprisingly usable with very intelligently designed key layout, and when backlit it's beautiful. Function key choices are also very satisfying, in particular CTRL ALT DEL (useful!). It even works for tweaking BIOS settings as the device is instantly recognized as USB keyboard. A nice icing on the cake is a very powerful laser pointer built into the device which my cats love. For the price I recommend this to everyone looking for HTPC accessories, even if you already have one. My solidtek is going into the closet.

Despite the expected delivery timeframe of 4-6 weeks I actually received my order in 8 days! Very impressive. I also received a prompt reply to my email inquiry about the product.

The product itself it just what it claims to be. It's a keyboard/mouse combo that's small, light, and easy to use. The buttons are large enough that I can pretty easily type with my large fingers, and the mouse trackpad works very well. It also comes with a complete 8 page manual written in pretty decent English in case you need it.

I was able to walk about 25 feet away and still operate my Home Theater PC, even standing behind a bookcase.

I ordered this model in particular because it has an almost complete keyboard in a layout extremely similar to a full-size computer keyboard. This makes it easy to use without looking closely at the keys. The keyboard has a backlight you can manually turn on (and turns itself off after a minute or so) which makes it possible to use in the dark.

Something mentioned in the manual, but I didn't see on the website, is that it has a 60 hour standby time for the rechargeable battery. It recharges via a (supplied) USB cable.

In my testing, the only (small) complaints I had were:
1) I couldn't seem to get Alt+F4 to work. It required pressing the "Fn" toggle button + the alt key + the number 4, but it didn't register.
2) Similarly, Alt+Left Arrow/Right Arrow don't seem to work (handy for web navigation to go back/forth). This too requires using the "SF" toggle button to switch the GHTY keys to arrows. There are other key combinations and mouse gestures that work, those are just the ones I happen to prefer :)

Overall, considering the size, the quality, the features, and the price: This is definitely a great buy!

I really like this keyboard. It works fine from the other room. It's easy to use, easy to set up, and easy to see with the backlight. The only problem I have is that it is not multi-touch. I have tried everything, and nowhere on the packaging, or in the instructions does it list multi-touch as a feature for this item. If you need multi-touch as a feature, buy something else. I've decided I can live without the multi-touch. If you want a great, mini wireless keyboard and touchpad, it works perfectly.

My expectations were low considering the price and that it seems to be marketed by a non-US company. But I must say, I was very surprised at how well this tiny keyboard/mousepad works in a real, living room situation. First, the mousepad is really surprisingly good except (unlike one of the other reviewers) I could not get it to scroll, which is its worst fault. It's smooth and precise and clicks/taps are instantaneous. It feels like you're using the mousepad the computer came with.

The keyboard is a little small but I again was surprised at how easy it was to "type." I don't have any experience with tiny keyboards (I don't have a smartphone) but it was pretty simple to use the keys. The only "gotcha" is that it does not have a traditional shift key, only a capslock. So to type caps you have to first click the "CAP" key, type the letter, then hit the "CAP" key again. You'll get over it. The key labels for the special functions could have been better thought out, especially the color coding. Again, you'll quickly figure it out.

I have a Windows 7 lappie as my HTPC and when I inserted the tiny USB transceiver I heard two very satisfying cah-dunks meaning that Windows saw the devices (keyboard and mouse) and activated them without any drama. No drivers are necessary.

The unit itself is small and very light and will easily fit in your shirtpocket. I can't comment on battery life since I used it for only an hour.

The on-off button seems to be confused while charging.

One time I lost sync with the transceiver so I just power-cycled the handheld unit and all was well.

I was looking for a better way to control my HTPC and the iPazzPort is a godsend. It's cheap, it works exactly as advertised and fits in your pocket. Don't waste money and space on all those other wireless HTPC keyboards--get the iPazzPort and you'll be happy you did.
