HAS WORKED GREAT WITHOUT FAULT AND PROBABLY BUILT BETTER THAN FACTORY FLEX CABLE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. DONT LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE

My Home button stop working about 5 months ago and it was annoying turning my phone off because I need to exit an app or have some one call me to exit the app. I bought this and tried it because I was sick of it. It didn't take long to replace, about 30 minutes. I did but the tool kit to make the job easier. In the long run was well worth the time and expense to have a working home button again.

This is a good product if you have the patience and confidence to fix it yourself. It's really annoying trying to replace this button but after I did it the home button did work, only problem was when I pushed the home button in it doesn't work like a normal home that you could feel being pushed in and springing back out, also you kind have to push it a little harder than normal.

The one I received doesn't work half the time. It has to be pressed a special way for it to register. It also doesn't spring back enough so that the home button is flush with the face of the iphone.

Hey do any of you now if it comes with sticky stuff to attach the home button?

Bought this to replace a non-responsive home button on a 3G that had the little spring tab contacts broken. Assembly was pretty involved, but doable (find instructions on google and youtube). Unfortunately, my home button still doesn't work, implying either a) the replacement doesn't work OR more likely b) the problem lies downstream from the physical button. Good luck.

Excellent replacement for home button. Be warned! You have to take off the face plate to access the home button.

It is a great product and does what it should. IT works and you should very careful when putting it on the phone, can break easily.
